  1. The car has folding mirrors, which we activate by pushing a button to fold and unfold them every time. I have bought the module on AliExpress which automates this function, but does not come with a specific wiring diagram and is not plug and play like the LHD version, since the car is RHD. I was asking if anyone had fitted one and had some sort of wiring diagram already, to save me the hassle of teaching every wire if it's been done before.
  2. "I have also seen ones that are listed as Universal, but does anyone have any experience fitting these to a CT & have any wiring diagrams or even pointers, if that's the way I might have to go." I've ordered 2 of these from Aliexpress yesterday, now I need a wiring diagram, which I'm sure I'll find here in the Forum somewhere 🙂
  3. Hi folks, Today the OH has collected her 2017 CT200h & I've been scouring the forums to see if there's a module to add to make the mirrors fold automatically when locking the car. I've seen the one for the LHD version on Alibaba, but does anyone know if there's a RHD one out there? I've searched Amazon, Ebay and Alibaba (which I've never used). I have also seen ones that are listed as Universal, but does anyone have any experience fitting these to a CT & have any wiring diagrams or even pointers, if that's the way I might have to go. Many TIA's Simon
  4. I've got one. 56 plate, 07 model SE-A. High Mileage, though. 181K. Lexus history until 141K. I bought it with 156K on the clock and had my local garage service it since. Purple metalflake in colour. HAd 2 new Lexus rear shocks last year. I know the mileage might put you off, but if anyone else reads this and is interested, let me know. I've got a figure in mind, but make me an offer 🙂
  5. Sorry Steve, but no it doesn't. It's the bare damper strut. I bit the bullet and ordered a pair at the cost of £287 ish each. The morning after the night before, the price has risen to £320 each, on the orders of Lexus HQ. How they can justify the cost for these parts is beyond me. My local independent charged me 5 hrs labour plus Vat to fit them, and I have to taken their word that it took that long. "Seized bolts", apparently. It has made a positive difference to the car, mind. The osr is definitely goosed. I can't get it to move at all & there's definate evidence of leakage, whilst the her is in much better condition, if anyone wants to buy it! They are the same part for both sides. Had tyres rotated, balanced and tracking done today, ahead of our trip from Manchester to Cornwall on Saturday, for a week of socially distanced and facemasked r & r!
  6. There's a guy here in Rochdale that does bespoke exhaust stuff for very reasonable prices. Entire rear section from and inc the y-pipe & 2 new back boxes cost me £290. T G Silencers - 01706 356982 Tgsilencers.co.uk If that helps 😀 It's the same the other side, btw.
  7. Can't really complain since it's got 170k+ on the clock. The rear end does feel rather "floaty" and have been told about misting for the past couple of MoTs so they need doing. Gonna have to bite the bullet and get them bought! Suppose that's the price of driving a luxury car such as Lexus is. Ta for your input, much appreciated.
  8. Yup, Dan replied to my message and told me it was the wrong ones. £283.60 each for the right ones, and that's just the strut rather than the whole suspension leg 😮😟
  9. I have already messaged them to double check and, looking at the listing again it does only say GS and doesn't specify which model, which I do find a bit annoying if they aren't the right ones, tbh. As with all car spare parts I do find it hard to believe the prices, sometimes. Does anyone know if the dampers for the GS450h rears are available as separates, anywhere? Edit: This is the listing I'm looking at, https://www.lexuspartsdirect.co.uk/parts/lexus-gs/lexus-gs-phase-iii-2005-2012/lexus-gs-3-steering-suspension/lexus-gs-phase-3-rear-shock-absorber-strut/ There's another that states the 3l petrol model: https://www.lexuspartsdirect.co.uk/parts/lexus-gs/lexus-gs-phase-iii-2005-2012/lexus-gs-3-steering-suspension/lexus-gs-phase-3-rear-shock-absorber-for-3l-petrol/ Forgive my ignorance but are these both for 300's?
  10. Hi folks, reading this thread with interest, since I have an 07 450h which needs at least 1 rear damper. Lexus parts direct have the struts themselves for £122 each, since I reckon the springs etc are all OK and after 170k+ miles I hope it's just the dampers. This gives an indication of what the AVS should be doing, if you're interested. Browse through the pages & you'll find the relevant parts. Further through is the section for the rears, too. https://workshop-manuals.com/lexus/gs_450h/v6-3.5l_(2gr-fse)_hybrid/steering_and_suspension/suspension/suspension_strut/shock_absorber/component_information/service_and_repair/front_shock_absorber_with_coil_spring/
