  1. good news mate bet you cant wait to get it!!

Yes mate - glad to have tracked one down and get it ordered. - The need for boost just got stronger when my starlet turbo was driven off by the new owner this morning.

Can't believe that the cable arrived today - ordered yesterday morning - top service by TTE. Although the cost was actually 50 euros inc. ups delivery.

And now I know what you all mean by the spring on the cable !

Thanks for all the help guys. Just needing to get some time off work now to get fitting arranged. :)

Who is fitting it for you mate ?

  2. Researching this for a long time myself. I've noticed Tein are very popular. But if they're the best i don't know. Sound good with the EDFC though.

I have had 2 sets of Tein coilovers on my lexus's, and using the EDFC was very good set-up :D

  3. IIRC Gord siad he didnt like it, it was very much like a Turbo,

nothing nothing nothing, everything all at once

What do you mean? So you would recommend a twin turbo setup rather than a supercharger?

The way the supercharger works was not to my liking, it runs a clutch and from memory only comes into play at about 70% of throttle, it take some getting used to, on off on off on off, in the end was not for me mate :D

  4. Right Mr Prolex

How much bhp is your is350 putting out ? with dyno to prove i would expect :D

Now i've been looking about the internet, and found out a few things ......... but before i say what i've found out please answer the above, as i don't want to be accused of ..............

How many more of Gordons statements are not based on truth but conjecture or hearsay :whistling:

Ps, i now know why you saying there was not 26 superchargers

Been ringing all day both work and mobile number laft messages and still no reply...

From something Mr Prolex said himself .................

  10. Kev just seen this mate, Did you email here? Andreas.Goergen@toyota-f1.com this is the person i emailed that i sent you a copy of in one of the last PM's? the part number for the cable is AM27958,

Yes mate thats the one I used (except never used upper case ?? - maybe thats the problem? Also sent another one to generic email addy from their website - same no response.

Maybe you can answer Robs question for me Chris ??

He has Kev, and yer Chris saying he put into box :D

  11. open your bonnet and have a look at where the cable attaches to the throttle body and u will see the spring

Rob -you are getting me well confused mate - under the bonnet I cant see any spring. It is just the stock throttle contol lever ? I am not sure if the bypass cable that the charger needs actually replaces the existing cable -and if it does it would seem that it is only a simple 'round end ' connector that I am sure a bike shop could do. My problem is that i dont have any cable at all since it was not included in the kit I bought - was damaged in fire.

Heres some pics if that helps.
