I was originally going to buy L3X JL and space it as shown, i got worried as i thought i would get pulled for incorect spacing and have seen a few others on here get pulled for similar spacing.

In the end i got this.............

They are bloooomin heavy will be taking mine out soon :)

He is taking the ***** as i have the S model so didn't have one to begin with! what he doesn't understand is that my car is lighter, and more stream lined than his car so FASTER than his! Even when he gets his supercharger fitted mine will be quicker as he eats alot of his wifes cakes, which also in turn adds alot of weight to his car!!!!!

I WAS only trying to help you out mate.

I dont eat a lot of the wifes cakes now because when you get them all the time you soon get fed up of them

This is going to be a complete long shot i know but has anyone got a drivers side seat rail for a bucket seat that they don't need.

I have been given a free Corbeau racing seat with brackets but need a seat rail to fit it into the car, just wondered if anyone has one that they would part with before i start looking at new ones!

Or if anyone has a bride seat rail i would also be interested as i have use of a bride seat :)

Certainly has started! Got the seat for free, needs a new bottom cushion and cleaning up but its not bad and will do as a replacement seat, its alot lighter than the standard one. Told Sarah what im planning on doing and she is not happy about me stripping out the car!!!! looks like i might have to strip it a few days before each event then put it all back in after :tsktsk:

The way things are going we will soon have a LOC'er in each class

Class A1 - Above 1600cc with aftermarket Turbocharger

Class A2 - Above 1600cc with standard frame turbocharger

Class B - below 1600cc with turbocharger

Class C - Above 1600cc N/A - my class

Class D - Below 1600cc N/A

Class E - Diesel

Class F - below 1000cc N/A...........currently only one person in this class, so you at least finish second!

So looking at that the gti-16 should be a class D so might be worth the £300 the car costs to buy :winky:

just need it MOT'd really .....as I said above get someone to share it and the running costs are halved.....
