  1. So, yeah I have just re-tested it and after a few minutes it dropped from 0.12 down to 0.03 - 0.05 so I believe that is more of an acceptable level?
  2. Hi all, not sure if it's because I only drive the car once a week if that but the batter has gone flat twice over the last month or so. Battery is good, had it tested as it was relatively new. It is 100% fine. I did a multimeter test for current drawn from the battery and I measured 0.12amps, mind you I didn't let the car sleep for an hour so some things may have been active. Is this roughly a normal reading or is it still too high?
  3. Thanks Rich, I did put some tiger seal, then put the fitting back in. But perhaps it's still leaking a bit. I have ordered some rubber grommets and I'm just going to block the hole up and leave the bumper fitting out. If it still leaks.... That's it... I will set it on fire! 😂
  4. Sorry to revive this thread, I'm having the same issues. I have already sealed all the places mentioned. Apart from the area rich1068said "two new stoppers for the rear bumper fixings on the bottom of the tailgate opening" What are these? I managed to stop the leak coming in from the left hand side, but I still have a small leak welling up on the right. Thanks.
  5. Son of a bitch! The left hand side is OK now but the right hand is still leaking, although not as bad. I just don't know where is can seal next! 😞
  6. Ive sealed every hole, grommet and joint behind the bumper and stripped the roof bars and gutter covers off and run a bead of tiger seal down. Sods law it has now stopped raining so I have to leave the boot stripped and wait for the heavens to open again! If this bloody thing still leaks, I'm going to set it on fire!!! 🙂 The only thing next if it is cured is having to strip out all the carpets!😪
  7. Thanks for the info mate, if possible would you be able take some pictures?
  8. No I havent take the roof rails off.....yet! Im really struggling to fin the leaks on both sides. I have put a wire up the rear drain hoses and it gets stuck around the middle of the rear doors on both sides in the tube. I have pushed quite hard but it wont go any further. As you can see from the pictures it runs down the outer skin (which I cant trace or see any further) then runs down the outside and correct in the corner. I am at my wits end and it has been constantly raining for about a week so its hard to pinpoint the area by pouring a watering can over.
  9. I could understand if the exit point was blocked behind the rear bumper as it would then overflow and come out of the fitting. There are also the ventilation flaps that I found to have a very small amount of water on. I will attach some pictures tonight. But I have ran some small plastic tubing back up to the sun roof from the rear and it seams clear. So now I'm running out of options. I will have to lock myself in the car and get the Mrs to pour water over.
  10. Hi all, I have the infamous leak on the inside of my boot (truck) and I have sealed up the rear lights, seams and strut brackets and I'm still getting some water in the back. I've check the front drain for the sun roof and they are clear. How can I check the rear as I can't see the holes from the roof? And is there anywhere else that the water could come in? Thanks.
  11. Hi all, I'm looking at removing the roof rails and want to know if there is a replacement strip that covers the hole left, I presume there is but haven't found a part number or picture. Thanks.
  12. How come it has to be on xp? Ones on ebay say they are compatible with xp, 7,8 and 10.
  13. So how would you number the cells from the diagram someone has attached for example, If I scanned it with a diagnostic machine and I identified a weak cell. How can you identify the cell or module from that diagram? Cheers Simon
  14. Yeah like I said, I haven't had an issue yet. I just want to prepare just in case. I have some reconditioning and preventative equipment from a company called hybrid Automotive, that basically discharges the battery fully and recharges it fully to improve battery capacity. So I just wanted to know, if I scanned it and i identified block 5 module faulty. How could I determine which one was block 5. I know the prius cells are identified as block 1 is furthest away from the ecu. But like I said there is very little information of anyone disassembling the battery.
  15. Hi all, I have an rx400h 2006, and although I don't have any issues with it yet, I am prempting them like my prius. I have successfully replaced cells on my prius and I have followed alot of guides and bought discarding and charging equipment. But for the lexus, can't seem to find any information or youtube videos. Does anyone have any info? Thanks
