I have a 2002 European model (Japan made) Lexus RX300 AWD with the nav screen, without the computer. I am living in Canary Islands and the importer never sold the car with the computer installed. Now I want to get one a good price to install it and then improve the system with the TV tuner and DVD. Of course that for Canary Islands navigation features does not make any sense... So my real interest is to have TV, rear vision and DVD on the nav screen. According to dealer and vin number, the car has the proper screen and possible wiring circuit already installed. Probably I will need also the GPS antenna. Any help will be appreciatte! Please don´t tell me to change the car for the new model, because I do not like the body of the new one and...I am not going to change the car just for this reason!

I drive daily for a road with a high density of tunnels with the headlights in auto on. The problem is that the lights get on late once inside the tunnel. Anybody knows how to adjust the system to turn on the lights faster? I see others with Scenics than get the lighs on just entering the tunnel and I can drive trought the small ones even without getting mines on! Any help will be appreciatted.

I own a Rx300 model 2002 with touch color screen and I want to install a rear view camera with auto on mode when rear driving. I already have installed the front and rear sensors but honestly speaking, final result is not as I thought. They advised very far from the obstacle. I will appreciatte any help installing the rear view camera, I already have one, and the place to locate it is alredy selected.

Anybody can help me to connect a DVD to the on dash RX300 2002 screen. Is the one with sat system but without the navigation system installed. Is anyway to install an external input device to select between TV and stereo and computer information?

I have change my IS200 for a almost new RX300 2002 model. My question is if it is possible to install a rear view camera using the LCD screen to see what the h...is going on besides the car while parking. I have installed the parking sensors (Front and back) and I would to have the image while I insert R. Thanks

The car looks nice. No problem for no manual option if the auto allows you to use it as manual as the Toyota M-MT. I hope that does not loose the sport feeling of my actual IS200 six speed with limited skip dif. If so, the first one arriving to CI will be mine. Any news about HP of gasoline version? Diesel are for farmers.
