  1. Looks like a similar system to the kanor iu, stay away. I know from the iu you wouldn't be able to change kph to mph, it's highly possible on high volume you will get a static noise. You won't know what volume your on. On your dash cluster you will not be able to radio information in sat nav, g sensor. Remaining fuel will always be wrong. One easy fix would be to have reverse camera screen stretched also the ngt screen. But kanor can't do this.

It seems that there are a few models to choose from. Cheaper ones with lower memory and slower processor, lower storage, and older Android versions... But I found this one. Ain't cheap, but it's better to get something that you will be happy with if investing the time and hassle.

And I found this video that explains pretty nice how to install it on your own. It is a different model, but procedure seems be the same right?
@lexusmoon - can you tell us was the procedure of the installation pretty much the same?

I've installed mine, unfortunately I ordered a different unit, I did want the one from Erica Tan or same as yours.

Mine doesn't show car information on the right, instead a clock which isn't always correct, I've changed to mph so the dashboard says it mph but it's actually kph.

My remaining miles shows up on the right hand, but when on lexus screen the right side shows it in kph.

Aux sound is terrible unusable, so have to use BT and there is also a delay, this has also stopped me from linking my phone to the car for calls.

Some time on my cluster the nav will stop, this in the past use to help for speed cam warnings, when this doesn't show it also stops displaying which audio am in, eg aux, bt, dab.

I've contacted seller but nothing has been done, I've noticed a feed back on his page form last year which and he responded to the seller about a possible update, I've asked the seller for a refund but he says he'll try for a update.

Alibaba don't except PayPal and I've been told its hard to get your money back, if a fix isn't done nor a refund in the next week I'll be telling everyone to avoid.

I know the mxc and navi radier for the lexus are good units.

So the android screen to avoid is the kanor android screen.

I've noticed on alibaba they do different units for different makes and models, I hope people who want to buy one can see this as a review and stay away from the Kanor Android Screen, for Audi, BMW, Lexus, Mercedes Benz, Toyota and deferent universal screen and speaker upgrade.

They have been sending me "update" which does nothing and evertime it's they make it sound am not doing it right, they sent me 8 deferent files for deferent fixes and none of the updates works, I bought brand new usb memory sticks twice as Kanor said the sticks are corrupt, I used all the computers in the house and some in work for the old files to download again.

KANOR don't refund your money, expensive units which needs a major research with the help of users.

I hope Kanor sees this message, I hope some other lexus owners come and sure their views.

I have fixed the sound issue which am not going to share, I don't want anyone buying one. Anyone who has bought one before I put this message, I can message you privately.

I drive the Lexus is300H F-sport 2014 model, with mark levinson, OEM Nav and jogpad.

After a lot of research online I decided to upgrade my stock 2014 screen to an aftermarket 10.25" touchscreen running on Android. What a blessing this is! The new screen is so much better in many ways compared to the original screen. With this new screen+Android OS, you can do pretty much everything you could do on your mobile smartphone. The good thing is you can switch back and forth between the stock and Android OS. I have not tested every single option yet, but everything I do daily in my car (listen to radio, usb music, bleutooth phone, stock navigation, tracking hybrid info, etc) all seem to work as it should.

When flipping over to Android OS, you get a few standard apps, including play/google store, so basically you can install anything you want.

Sofar, I installed Sygic and waze for navigation. MX player to play videos, tried connecting to the internet to browse thru Chrome. All working fine.

Will continue to test more over the next few wks.

The things I do need to call out:

    1. Wiring can be a challenge for those doing this installation first time. Its doable. I am no engineer and did it. Just take your time.
    2. Android sound need to be coming from the AUX source. Sound quality is not as good as OEM. In particular the bass is bad, but you can lower this on the equalizer so it becomes acceptable.
    3. Using the mouse/jogpad in Android OS is not perfect. It works, but just not as smooth as it should be. I prefer the touchscreen instead. Touchscreen does not work when in Lexus OS. Then the mouse/jogpad works perfectly fine.
    4. Screen does not mount on the original bracket and screws to hold it down. It only uses the pens to hold it in place. Good enough, but not as good as original.
    5. It's running on older Android OS. It works, no hiccups or whatsoever.

    The good things:

    1. Love the big screen!!
    2. Android OS - many apps!! Including navigation, carplay, etc
    3. Touchscreen is easy to use - like on your tablet.
    4. Love the big screen!! 😃

I went to lengths to get it right since my mileage was not clocking up when I got the car. The lexus people wanted to sell me a new clock at £1000 with '000000` on the thing. Yeah I reckon it will be really easy to shift the car on in future without true mileage

So I went to lengths to work out how to resolve it. And yes I hit the ring not moving and all manner of issues.

Look your man can use the file or not it direct off my car so I know it's good.

Either way makes no odds to me. Was trying to help you out that's all. No worries.

Thanks soo much bro, he did it, all working like before, correct millage I added 1k extra moving fine.

The ring moving/not moving is a coding issue.

The like I said I will dump mine to a bin file and send you it. If I get time tomorrow I'll do it if not it'll be weekend.

He will have to dismantle it to flash it again anyway.

Ok it's done, the millage is now moving but my moving dial is not, the background moves across but the mechanical ring dont move.

He said it's he needs a different software and will be done next week.

I didn't realise this should be a problem, is it possible it's been programmed with a non f sport hex file?

If they specialise in remaps they should know what they are doing then.

Can't have done many Lexus cluster edits then perhaps

BTW the IC is an S93A66 (not 93c66 which may be on the original.) but there's little difference. Incase you wanted to buy some blanks.

Thanks bro, you been really helpful, I will give the garage the file, he said it's a easy fix, but I dont know if he kept the original save from the original ic or from current ic.

Am in Bristol, so am miles away. Lexus do overcharge and the technician are not fully trained. I wanted my rear seat belt alarms turned off (this can done done by lexus on the mk2) and they said it impossible but it can be done with the carista app using a bt obd.

Thanks again you been really helpful and il keep you updated, I hope it is a easy fix, the garage i used specialize in remaps and other vehicle programming.

    Couple of things.

Is your car exactly same as mine? 2014 is300h F sport?

Also your 95k is miles right not kilometers? It is British car?

I don't have file with 95k on it. I would think that a dump from mine and alter the correct hex could give you what you need.

The reason yours won't be counting is because in the hex there are 3 locations the hex is in. Two are identical and the 3rd is what one mile behind the other two. This gets updated then is copied to the other 2. That's the working theory. Dont hold me to this.

If all 3 are coded the same the mileage won't 'tick' up.

    Mine is a is300h f sport 2014

British model in miles not km.

Can you send me the dump file which worked on your?

How easy would it be for the garage to alter your hex to match my mile?

Could you altar and send me a second file with 96k?

Could the garage change the 3rd hex code minus 1 mile which would be the 3rd hex?

Sorry for all the questions, but its a little frustrating atm and am only able to get information from you.

So... What have "the garage" actually done. And what was it in for?

Millage correction was done, since then both trips works but the odo mine millage is stuck on the millage I wanted it changed to 95k. So am guessing he will need desolder the chip and put a new chip?

Dose the new chip need a file before it can be programmed and if so can you send me this file?

Am taking it back to him this week so il need to find out from him if he has blank chips and the correct software.

    I did indeed.

So I had a correction done on my is300h f sport, millage is not going up but the trip a and b is working. The garage said to bring it back to them next week. Is this the similar issue you had and what did you do to fix it?

    Thanks.

That's actually pretty much the same as mine which I'm pleased about.

So the only issue I have is range mileage displaying nothing.

It may need time to calculate that I'm guessing 100 miles in its still blank. So I will give or more time. Unless someone knows different.

Did you find out how to sort it?
