  1. Halfords came good and gave a like for like replacement. checked a few things out so will go for it and see how I get on. That’s me for the advice / help.
  2. Guess given daylight or dusk driving in the city, I may not have noticed but…. I agree, strange.
  3. Frustratingly both bulbs blown. Now to find the receipt 😭
  4. Cheers. Checking fuse when home and take it from there.
  5. Morning folks. Looking for some advice. i went out in my car last night and found that my headlights were both not working. Full beam works fine, side lights also but no headlamps- weird. I’d replaced the pair around 9 months ago so I’d assume that they both haven’t blown simultaneously but maybe…. However, would appreciate your thoughts as to what else it may be before I replace them both (again) - fortunately have the receipt so if it’s the bulbs will be able to at least chat to the store. I bought Bosch 50% extra brighter so expected these to last a fair length of time. Also from a reputable store and not online. As ever grateful for your thoughts.
  6. Worked a treat. Down to Stratford Upon Avon with both bikes intact. Cheers.
  7. I’ve read it’s 100kg on aerobars. Here : https://www.roofrackstore.com.au/thule-wingbar-evo-silver-roof-rack-for-lexus-ct-200h-5-door-hatchback-2011-onward-p-571010.html
  8. Sorry for delay. Not had reason to go far until this weekend. Have tape measure to hand and will see how I get on.
  9. I believe so but can check.
  10. I have a moon roof ( why that name…) and closest I’ve seen to a pan roof.
  11. Evening everyone, just looking to share my experience and see if anyone else has had a similar problem. i purchased a set of Thule aerobars and the appropriate feet to fit the 200. However, with the bodywork on the roof being shaped at the front, I have found that the feet at the front have a tendency to edge ever so slightly back and therefore slacken off even more as the roof shape narrows where the feet make contact with the roof. With my cycle carrier on the roof, the left front foot edged enough back that it became loose whilst driving on the M9 last week - fortunately I spotted it. I tighten them as much as I can but even after a 5 mile journey, they can slacken off a little. I am travelling with my bikes to Birmingham in a few weeks and slightly apprehensive about it given the M9 difficulty. maybe it’s just me but wanted to see what others experienced.
  12. Went for roof bars and Thule bike rack. Easier all round.
  13. Looks pretty good. Will check these out cheers.
  14. Cheers. Not sure if the ‘spoiler’ gets in the way with this one though.
  15. Hi everyone Has anyone found a suitable rack to hols 2/3 bikes to go on the back of the 200 without the need for a tow bar or roof rack?
  16. Cheers everyone. Getting pads checked and replaced as necessary at independent and then small service with Lexus. All advice very welcome.
  17. Sorry folks. It’s 60k. Not 50k. My error.
  18. Cheers John. Very helpful. Thank you.
  19. Cheers John. Problem is previous owner didn’t do the 40k one so would prefer to get the big one done if I’m doing it. think you’re suggesting going locally for the brakes but Lexus for the service.
  20. So I’ve had the CT for around 3 months and love it. I totally agree that the experience of owning and driving far exceeds the ratings given from test drives. I now need brake pads and my SatNav etc updated. I see the big service with Lexus IS roughly £500 without the brake pads I know I need. I use an independent garage I really trust (Marshall Autocare) normally but don’t expect they can do the software update. can anyone give me some advice about what options I have in order to keep servicing costs to a minimum. Also wondered if there were any service plans I ought to consider by way of long term saving.
  21. Checking car history online. The car had the following work carried out early in its history FABRIC SUPAGARD - SU,S/FIT PRO PACK - FIT I know what the Fabric Supaguard is anyone know what the rest means
  22. You sound as sad as me! My challenge now is to try and keep using only the battery. The queue behind me hate me.
