I used to have a ZTE Blade and I don't remember having any problem. The new phone is a Samsung galaxy s20a. Does the car system not hold the information from the phone or only when the phone is connected?

I have my mobile paired with the car and normally check the connection before I drive anywhere. It will show that it is working but during a journey the phone book will switch off. Any ideas why? PS. I do not make calls whilst driving, It just annoys me that there is an intermittent fault.
