Engine light fails to illuminate during ignition check. No codes. Same problem last year so replaced instrument cluster. That did it. This year engine light on for evap leak. Repaired leak and cleared codes. VSC warning on the whole time. Recalibrated VSC - cleared. Thought I was good to go. No lights for one week. Went for smog test today. Failed for check engine light not illuminated on dash. Wondering what to do before replacing instrument cluster again?
