All vehicles are available on a 'Click & Collect' basis and are available to purchase as a distance sale." Conventional wisdom has it to test drive before making an offer, but current circumstances dictate no test drive, yet sales are being encouraged.

Thank you all for your great inputs. I will also take a look into the Advance and F-sport trims from the suggestions made. I'm basically after a model that will be reliable and has longevity in it, not costly to maintain and run, and serve me well heading towards retirement and beyond.

I'm looking to see what would be fair price to pitch, to a dealership, for a high mileage (92,436 miles) Mar 2016 reg IS 300h. I'm currently looking to pitch at £13,415. The asking price currently stands at £14,988. Q1. Would this seem a fair offer? Q2. What are likely to be high cost items, that would need attending to, within the next 3-year time span? Q3. Thank you for the really great advice and suggestions. I will look into the GS models, as space and size is also a factor, but I hadn't mentioned it.

Having visited Snows Toyota (Exeter) and Lexus (Exeter) a few weeks ago, and having seen the new Toyota Corolla and it’s price, I am inclining towards a Lexus myself. Please don’t hesitate to suggest any models you think fit my requirements. I’m looking for something that is no older than 5-years, and I’m not eager to go over £20k, ideally under £14k. Any particular trims I should go for? Currently, I'm looking to purchase a Lexus IS300h, upto 3-years old. Any ideas what trim I should go for, and what is the best price I should pay without feeling as if I paid over the top and neither going to cause myself an embarrassment by offering too low?
