  1. Thank you everyone for your responses. Can't praise Tayna batteries enough. Car all sorted and back on the road. 🙂
  2. Hi Mr Vlad, The car worked fine on Saturday, no lazy starting or faded lights, had driven home approx 30 miles. Went to go out yesterday and no power to start the car, put jump pack on and took it on a long run no issues when driving. Got home stopped the engine tried to restart and battery didn't hold charge and would not start, alternator is returning charge. The battery looking at it, is a Toyota one which i believe from the receipts I have to be the original battery (2008). hope this helps
  3. Thank you all, I was looking at the ones from Tayna as they were much better value than Europarts even with their discount offers. Many thanks.
  4. Good morning I wonder if anyone can give me some advice. My battery on my IS250 collapsed yesterday, I am looking at the Bosch S4 Type 068 as a replacement, but wondered if anyone else has any recommendations or advice before I buy. Many thanks for any help 🙂
  5. Thank you Herbs (Herbie) and PCM (Piers). Was all set to move it as suggested but when i got in today my starter button lit up green and car started perfectly. I can only assume that as suggested there was something blocking my signal, been out come back and all ok. Thank you for your prompt responses and help with my issue.
  6. Lexus IS250 'Key not detected' Good evening can any one offer some advice. My Car worked perfectly yesterday, but when I got in it today a message on the dash come up 'Key not detected' . I read the handbook which mentioned about putting key near the start button and the car did start, however the message was still coming up. I tried my spare fob and this was the same. I have changed both batteries, but the only way to start the car is by putting key near starter switch. I haven't driven the car as I do not want to get stranded. The car will not lock using the fobs at the moment either. Is there something else I need to do, or do I need to contact the dealer (hopefully not). Thank you in advance for any assistance.
  7. Could you please tell me i have the same issue, where is the sensor located and is there only one sensor ? thank you
  8. Good morning, the AFS light on my dash has come on, can anyone tell me where to find the sensors so i can check if the connection is loose in the first instance, and are there one of 2 sensors. Any advise would be appreciated.
