Hi everyone, Winter has come and with it, the tailgate issue. I had this last winter but it began working again in late spring absolutely fine. It stopped working a few weeks ago as winter set in, same as most here with no beep, not able to open manually from the outside and boot interior lights not working. I got the manual from Herbie last year (thanks again) but still can’t find a cause or fix. Has anyone had any luck recently or are we all just only using our boots in the summer? P.S Been a Lexus fan my whole life with our first family Lexus being a 1990 LS400 and mine a RX330, what was everyone’s first Lexus? Cheers, Simon

Hi everyone, I have recently moved to NW London (HA5) and I am looking for any recommendations anyone can make for, Garages to do services and general maintenance Bodyshop which can do a deep polish and fix general marks etc Place to buy parts such as brake discs etc I really appreciate any help anyone can give me. Thanks everyone for the input. Yes, unfortunately I made the silly mistake of buying during lockdown from a reputable dealer who specializes in Lexus but they failed to declare any of the corrosion even after asking about the condition of the car. I am waiting on some other opinions alright as Lexus are only suggesting to replace parts obviously. Also, no advisories on the MOT is suspicious as there is rust on the brake and fuel lines which should be an advisory at a minimum. I am speaking to the dealer about this but have any of you seen this happen before or have any advice? thanks and appreciate your help. Simon

Hi everyone, I really need some advice on a pretty bad situation. I recently bought a 2010 Lexus RX450h from the UK, the car interior and body is in great condition but there is severe corrosion on the under body. None of this was declared by the garage and I have gotten the vehicle accessed by Lexus and they cannot even quote to repair it the corrosion is that bad. Hi everyone, I just bought my second Lexus and went for a 2010 RX450H, full service history and in great condition. in saying that I have a few spots of rust, in particular the boot struts, rear break disks and certain parts in the engine. Has anyone else experienced this and recommendations? Also does anyone know where to get replacement hybrid side emblems, can’t seem to find them anywhere online? Appreciate any help anyone can give me. Simon
