Just a quick question about the battery,when I’ve been staring up the car doing brake,power button and it goes onto ready. there as been two occasions where it’s started like a normal car and not in the really quite battery mode whats that reason?

Just got it,love it👍👍 I drove back from the garage and it’s a lovely drive,only problem was that there was so much to look at inside and fiddle about with and rice at the same time. don’t miss the gears at all they have gave me 30 days to decide if I want the smart protect which starts at £305-£509 and the alloy wheel and tyre insurance £434 and GAP insurance at £295-£430 looking at nearly £1500 anyone else have any of those?

So you think it would be best to go for their service package for a few years?i think it’s a pay monthly scheme. im not planning on selling for a while.

Yeah I think it’s a coating that goes on the car,but I heard it was only worth having on black or dark coloured cars.

Yep cheers can’t wait. can I ask about the modes. what do the modes mean and what’s best to drive in,I get the EV mode is just electric but what about the others?

Yeah there does seem a lot to take in,Thing is I’ll only be driving at weekends and the wife will be driving it in the week for work and other stuff and she’s the same never drove a automatic let alone a hybrid just hope she can get her head round it got visions of her ringing me up saying the car won’t start ☹️

Thanks alot to take in there and yes it’s my first hybrid,so you can do normal speeds on the battery? I just thought it was for when you are doing 5 - 10 mph. and is it just the braking that charges the battery up? ill forget all this when I pick it up,so it’s a good job I can ask on here,until you get sick of me😁 so when do you put it into N ? and if I park the car up at night and the big battery is flat will it start?

Hi I’ll be picking up my new Lexus,from the Lincoln garage on Saturday,an F-Sport. with it being my first Lexus and not knowing much about them is there anything I should be asking the garage? Is there anything particular I should know?,I mean it’s my first car with a navigational system so will that be with the latest update?Just stuff like that really. cheers.

So if I pull up to some lights,should I use the middle foot brake,the far left one or the one on the gear stick, Probably a stupid question,but never drove one🤷♂️

Can believe that,as when I did my test drive and pressed the start button,I had to ask the salesman what was up with it as it’s not starting.as you can guess he told it had started😂.

Hi I did have a test drive in one for about 10mins and didn’t know what I was doing😂but liked it, so the far left peddle is that the handbrake? and what’s the park option on the gear stick isn’t that brake as well,and the middle peddle?have I got three brakes?😂

Think mostly I want to move away from fuel to electric and see this as a steppingstone to full electric also I think it looks the best👍

Hi I’m no car expert and go with what I like the look of. so It was the looks and the fact it’s a hybrid interests me. Seen quite a few good reviews if I’m honest,why is it not very good?

Hi new to the site and new to Lexus cars. just purchased a Lexus CT 200H F-Sport,69 plate. Pick it up on Saturday. so new to the make and model,new to hybrid cars and new to automatic cars,so going to be fun👍
