Looking at a 2007 RX 400h, local garage. 107,000 miles. Service history but no evidence of cam belt and water pump replacement. Advice please. How long and what price to change? Needs doing immediately or can I drive for a few hundred miles without too much concern? Is there a visual inspection possible to assess condition?

Apologies if this an already well trodden path. I couldn't find anything using a general search. Other than the seats, sound system, sun-roof and air suspension (sounds a bit like what have the Romans done for us . . .) are there any other differences between an RX 450h SE-L and SE-I ? I'm not bothered about the sun-roof nor the suspension but I do prefer the SE-L seats (also those in the RX 400h). Is it possible swap the seats between different/later versions/models? Also is the Mark Levinson unit retro-swapable to any benefit? Or is the standard set-up generally sufficient?

Can someone give a guesstimate re. cost of replacing cam-belt and ancillaries please. West/East Sussex border by the coast. Potential purchase with no known history of replacement.

Resurrecting a dormant thread. Is there a difference between the models regarding the leather seats? Namely, was perforated leather standard across the range or reserved for particular levels of model. I’m looking at pictures of a car for sale on the internet and cannot make out if it is perforated or “solid” leather. The car is advertised as SE with the later navigation unit.
