  1. Just to provide an update, I took the car in for a service and they managed to find that the bracket on the exhaust was broken which led to the sound.

  3. Hi, Does anyone know if there are any Lexus specialist in Manchester (Apart from Lexus dealers) where I can take my IS250 for a full service? Lexus service prices are considerably high and I don't really want to pay £500+ for a full service.
  4. The noise is absent when the car is stationary but becomes audible only during movement. Whether driving straight or turning the wheel, the noise is present, although it is not directly caused by turning the steering wheel. I have included another video in which I simultaneously press the brake and accelerator pedals. This video demonstrates that the noise also occurs when the car is attempting to move forward. However, I would like to highlight that this phenomenon exclusively happens when the gear is in drive for forward motion. When I conducted a similar test with the gear in reverse, the noise did not occur. 20230702_224245.mp4
  5. Hi I've recently observed an unpleasant sound while driving forward at around 1500rpm. Interestingly, the noise doesn't occur when the vehicle is in park or reverse and I rev the engine. Just to provide some context, I drive an automatic transmission. This sound persists across all gears when moving forward. I would greatly appreciate any assistance in resolving this issue as the noise has become quite bothersome. Thank you. VID-20230712-WA0002.mp4
  6. Hi, Lexus IS250 2.5 V6 2009 Petrol Automatic Transmission I recently observed an audible sound accompanied by a noticeable vibration when accelerating forcefully from a complete stop. I'm concerned whether this is a problem with the transmission or possibly related to the brakes. This phenomenon only occurs when starting from a complete stop and lasts for approximately one second. I have attached two videos: one demonstrating the sound and vibration when the gear is in "D" with my foot on the brake, ensuring the car remains in gear without movement, and the other video shows the sound produced when I apply fast pressure to the accelerator in order to move the car. The first video is when the car is in gear position 'D' and foot is on the brake whilst the accelerator is pressed. The second video is the sound produced when I apply fast pressure to the accelerator in order to move the car Any advise would be welcome.
