rusty suspension arms and diff are solid lumps that typically just surface rust. You need to be concerned with body panels floorpan and sills. Having said that i've seen a few 8 year old lexus with rust yet my 21 year old micra has no rust anywhere...

Japanese makes don't seem as well rustproofed on the underbody, so I suspect some are staring to show signs of corrosion.

New to the IS300H which I'm liking very much. Unfortunately have a problem with the front and rear dome lights, they don't work with the switch or with the doors. However the individual map lights work front/rear and so does the footwell lighting, puddle lights etc. Any ideas?
