  1. I have not upgraded my ecu, I have just added a boost controller but as the evo`s have been more tuned then they no that it can take extra boost on the standard ecu but the fuel pump runs out of puff, this uprated fuel pump will give the fuel rail more pressure so whatever the injectors want they will get. jase
  2. Why is it that none of you think about uprating the fuel pump is a good idea ?? In my evo i have upped the boost and everybody says that i must uprate the fuel pump as the evo will start to lean out at high boost (i have just fitted a walbro 255lph pump) surely this is the same in your cars if they have been supercharged or turbo`d. The injectors are trying to supply the fuel but the pumps not putting enough fuel there just a thought for you all :winky: jase
  3. Did`nt i do both sides while you was of fetching bits for hours on end !!!!!! :P
  4. Water injection has been round for years, it sprays a very fine spray into the inlet manifold and cools the air and fuel and as you should all now the cooler the air the more you can cram in and the faster it goes, you can also spray the intercooler which also cools the air again (the evo has a automatic water spray on the intercooler and radiator). As daza will probably tell you, it is very small amount of water as i dont think he as ever put any water in his yet.
  5. This is the easy one, when this one done he has to help me with the evo :P :P :P
  6. yes it has been done if you search for DAZA_W and look at his car :D :D :D :P
  7. Theres a few pics here on my site to !!!!! evolutionvi.com :D :D jase
  8. i have a vi, and i have still not stopped smiling :D :D :D , i use mine as a daily driver to work etc, the ride i think is superb not to hard but hard enough to corner quick, it is a awesome car, looks can`t get better than the vi (IMO) comfort is good, climate control, AC, 4 electric windows even folding electric wing mirrors :o . fuel is not to bad the only problem is the small tank, i do about 180 miles to £38.00 of optimax, the weak point is the clutch if you are doing a few miles you may have to change this once a year, i work in a garage so i do all my own stuff but parts are quite expensive. clutch was £450 for a ap 4 paddle brake pads front were £115.00 daz_r is my mate and i use his lexus and he uses my evo both nice cars but if you want something stupidly quick and unbelivable grip just try a evo, i can`t think of any other car i would want :D :D :D :D
