The vehicle list price at time of purchase including extras was a shade under 40,000 but due to price increases and spec changes this went over 40,000 by the date of first registration. The issue is that the dealer knew we were trying to keep the car under 40,000 for the road tax issue but failed to mention that if there was an increase that took it over 40,000 at the date of registration we would incur the additional VED.

Hi, We ordered our Lexus UX F Sport in Terrane Khaki with a sunroof back in January 2022 and it was delivered in June 2022. During the process we discussed on a couple of occasions keeping the price below 40,000 so as not to incur the additional VED. To our surprise we have received the road tax renewal with the additional VED. At no time during the order process and subsequent delivery period that if the list price increased before delivery we would be liable for the additional VED. Has anyone else been caught out by this and if so were you advised by the dealer.

Picked up our F-Sport Premium Plus with sunroof today from Lexus Teeside. Superb handover and the car looked excellent in Terrane Khaki with White Ash interior. Was gutted it didn't have memory seats or wireless charging point but otherwise very happy.

Just been advised that our UX F Sport has arrived at the dealers and collection set for 17th June. Happy days.

Thanks Barry. Dealer has now advised that they are expecting the car next week and delivery has been scheduled for June 17th. Fingers crossed.

Judging by the replies, I guess our car has sat at Portbury for two weeks and is now on its way to Derby as we have the same update as Roddersbruck which we received on Friday. At this rate it will have taken less time by sea from Japan than by road from Portbury to Teeside. I guess the dealers estimate of delivery of June 7th is now looking to be optimistic.

Our F Sport was ordered on January 6th and arrived at Portbury on May 14th. It's now two weeks since it's arrival in the UK and according to the App it has now arrived in Derbyshire unless I am reading the App wrong and it is now in Transit from Derbyshire to Teeside. The App shows a solid line from Portbury to Derbyshire. I am hoping that I am reading the App wrong and that it is on route from Derbyshire to Teeside which I guess would mean it could arrive at the dealers in the next couple of days. Has anyone any experience of the current normal timings from Portbury to the Dealer.
