  1. So I have had a letter from Lexus to tell me to contact my dealer to get my second key, which "will take approximately 10 minutes to complete and is of course, free of charge". Why they put that bit in bold who knows. Just a 6 months wait.
  2. I have done just over 3000 miles in my NX450 with 20in run flats and it’s been a good ride, I could be imagining this but I think it’s quieter than my old NX300.
  3. Pick my car up July this year and told this week by the dealer Q2 2024 for my second key.

  6. Took the car to a Lexus body shop this morning and thankfully they have been able to polish out the last of the marks. Now I will wait and see how long the salesman takes to reply to my emails. Let’s hope he remembers what I told him about lack of service from other car dealerships and why I don’t now drive an Audi or jag. Anyway the car now looks as good as a four month old car so I am very happy.
  7. Had a little differently with the Ghost 2 when fitted but now works a treat.
  8. Dammit, I just remembered I schedule my climate to warm my car up at 5.30am the other morning when it was cold for a day. 🤣
  9. I now have an appointment with a Lexus body shop to see if it can be polished out, or have to have the whole bonnet re-sprayed and the wings to blended in. Supagard to pick up the bill. Next car £500 from a scrapyard then I don’t have to care about the car or the service I get (Good service from Supagard).
  10. News just in, sent an email late last night. Supagard replied “ Rest assured I have raised and escalated your claim to our/your local agent …. ……. who will be in touch to have this marking professionally removed.” still not a word from Lexus who I paid £60000plus
  11. All my cars in the last few years have come with the packs, but this time it did not occur to me to look . I will remember next time.
  12. So my dealership told me to contact Supagard which I did and they said there should have been a Supagard bag of tricks in the car (not in the car, will deal with the dealership later). Supagard sent me one of their products with instructions so after working on the bonnet for over an hour some of the marks have gone and the rest are not as obvious. For now I am too busy and the weather does not help but will get back to Supagard and the dealer as soon as. Spent to much money to be happy with the marks.
  13. I agree with Szhrmp £500 is the cheapest and I think best way to keep tens of thousands of pounds of your money safe. I have a Ghost fitted on my NX but there are others like the Shadow Immobiliser.
  14. Autowatch believe it was the 12 volt battery running down while they spent hours trying to get more than one button working. I had them take it out as I was driving to Scotland and needed to be sure.
  15. I was ill for a few days and when I went to my car, the birds had taken a liking to the bonnet so I took it to be washed. And now I have marks on the bonnet where the birds had used it as a public toilet. I paid for Suragard and also used a bird lime remover but it's still there. Now I called Lexus and said they will get back to me. Anyone else ever had this problem?
  16. Ghost now fitted and all is well. Can sleep a little easier now.

  18. I had one fitted but had it taken out as some safety features did not work, but the man from Autowatch said that they were not working on that part of the system. They spent most of the day trying to get more two buttons to work as the pass code and run the 12 volt battery down and that could had an effect. Lexus checked the car and all is well. Autowatch say it is good to fit.
  19. Sadly had delay my booking for the Ghost as the COVID return to my house. So will book it again soon.
