  1. Hello everyone, Long time lurker, first time poster, I have been a happy CT owner for a couple of years now and this forum has been a big time-saver! I'll go straight to the point. I recently took my CT for the minor service at Lexus and I was advised (red light) to replace the rear passenger side caliper (seized) and I was quoted £702 for the parts and labour (just for this job). For what is worth, I haven't done more than 1,000 miles since I had the MOT done (again at Lexus) and the car had no symptoms (so smell or sounds etc). Nevertheless, I will still replace it, just to be on the safe side, but the price sounded rather high, so I'm also looking to get a quote from Halfords and/or other independent garages. I just wanted to check whether anyone have had any experience with a repair like this before? Does anyone know what is the OEM for the caliper? Best, C
  2. I had the same problem two weeks ago. I didn't move the car for few days because I was travelling and the weather has been cold and when I came back then the car won't start. I used a jump starter I bought from Amazon and it worked well. Since then, I have been monitoring the voltage of the battery and it is consistently above 12.6v. I took the car to Lexus on Saturday for the scheduled minor service and they didn't recommend to replace it.
