  1. Hi all,

    I have just been to my dealership to install a software update (recall XGG95) for the front facing camera.  All went well but as I was there i asked about the delivery of my second key.  The car was delivered on 8 Feb 23 so I was expecting the additional key to be available by now.  Sadly not, the service team advised that it will be two more months before i can expect it.  Are others getting the same message?

    I contacted Lexus C S and they sorted out the issue with their tech team - took them a couple of weeks. It will then show under the Purchased heading in your Garage section

    adding a a car with the Vin is only for cars that physically exist that you purchase

    I had the same issue, Lexus didn’t have the correct spelt email address for me.

    I found my paper manual today underneath the rubber mats and charging cables - sorry I didn’t realise the manual was there until today.

    Hi, I was told via the app that build was complete on 13 Dec and the car was available from 6 Feb in the dealership so around 8 weeks or so. 

  5. I have, finally, taken delivery of my NX 450h+ FSport and I am now spending some time getting used to all the control positions and tech. My last car was a Mercedes so it’s quite different.  A quick update so far is an unnerving incident on my way home from the dealer and an issue often reported on this site.  The first issue was after leaving the dealership and cruising on the M4 home the dashboard virtual instruments, Speedo etc, and including the HUD failed and then rebooted every 15 seconds or so.  Anxiety inducing when travelling at 70 mph!  The second issue was during a recharge on my home station the Lexus Link app reset itself to indicate the car was still ‘In transit’.  I fixed it by logging into the Lexus.Co.uk site and adding the car back in with the VIN and some additional details.  I haven’t experienced either issue again and it’s just into day 3 so looks like it’s all good.  I am very happy with the car and look forward to getting more experience of it in the coming days.

    I mean no disrespect to the contribution to this thread made by @PB1642 but seeing that you are - by your own admission - not technically minded, I would suggest that you try the resolution I have detailed first. In the (almost) 12 months that I have owned my NX I have had this pop-up appear twice and on both occasions I have managed to get rid of it by pressing Continue and then logging in. I can't guarantee that it won't come back in the future (only Lexus technical staff can fix it permanently I guess) but it should give you some respite for a fair while.  

    No disrespect taken.  All I was suggesting is maximising the chances of getting good connections between the car, @mobeam ‘s mobile and networks of opportunity.  In order to eliminate dodgy connections to resolve the issue.   All on the assumption that the issue is one of connectivity.  If there are other working solutions then all is good. After all we are a community trying to help each other. Regards all, Pete

  7. This looks like a connection issue. I suggest that you check your mobile phone is happily connected to the car.  If not enable Bluetooth to see if that works.  I would also see (if your home Wi-Fi signal is strong enough at home) that you switch on the car, make sure mobile is connected to the car and wait to see if the pop up comes on again before you set off.  This should cover off the potential connection issues.  I hope you solve it.

    Hi Andymi

    Harrier Man is right.  I asked my dealership who got the name of the ship from Lexus UK. you can then select from a few apps or websites that allow you to track progress.  Though some do charge, so look for any that allow free access.  Good luck!

An update to my earlier post on delivery of NX 450h+.  About 3 weeks back the App messaged me to say the car was in production and then a week or so later that it had  left the factory.  A quick email to Lexus Bristol asking for details of the ship with a reply (thanks Christian) that it was on MIGNON, and I have been following progress since.  Currently MIGNON is in the Arabian Sea with an ETA of 29th December in the Suez Canal.  I can't find any further details from the maritime app I am using but it's encouraging to know that the car is well on its way.

Feeling a bit like this myself at the moment.  I ordered an NX 450+ in May 22 and estimated delivery was Nov 22.  The dealership rang a few months back and delayed to Dec 22.  A few weeks later and I was told it would be early 23.  At that time the App was stating the car was pre-prod.  Thankfully it’s now updated to build in progress and my estimate it will be Feb 23, hopefully!

    I am a newbie - my Lexus is on order it's na NX 450h - Black with black/red interior.  It's scheduled to arrive in November after placing the order in late April 2022.  Looking forward to receiving the car and experiencing a new marque this will be my first Lexus.

    I will post any updates as they arise.
