  1. Just tried to open the Lexus app again and updated itself or at least it said that’s what it was doing. Anyway, all back to normal. Pete
  2. Hi Paul, A check please did the ‘upgrade’ request take you to the Lexus link + app or the Toyota app? My attempt did the latter and the Toyota app won’t link to my NX. thanks Pete
  3. Updated as requested but it downloaded the Toyota app which didn’t work. Lexus are not very good at digital technology, methinks.
  4. Same as BillSt doesn’t link to 450h+ FSport. Sadly, I had this on my previous car and it was really useful for tight parking bays.
  5. My NX was handed over in early Feb 23 and i can pick my second key tomorrow. I am told it will take at least an hour possibly two to programme, I have to wonder why?

  7. My reading this morning 47.6/45.2 outside temp is currently 17c but the car is in early morning sun and likely to be warmer (its also black).
  8. Hi all, I have just been to my dealership to install a software update (recall XGG95) for the front facing camera. All went well but as I was there i asked about the delivery of my second key. The car was delivered on 8 Feb 23 so I was expecting the additional key to be available by now. Sadly not, the service team advised that it will be two more months before i can expect it. Are others getting the same message? Thanks, Pete

  10. Roy, I found my paper manual today underneath the rubber mats and charging cables - sorry I didn’t realise the manual was there until today.
  11. Hi, I was told via the app that build was complete on 13 Dec and the car was available from 6 Feb in the dealership so around 8 weeks or so.
  12. Hi Roy. The manuals are available on the Lexus.co.uk site. I think that earlier model versions are there too. If you login or create a user login in the manuals are under the ‘My Lexus’ part of the site. I hope this helps!😀
  13. No, it’s apparently only available on line. And to be honest I find it easier to search the online manuals for what I need. Though in terms of gimmee’s I did get rubber floor mats. 😀And Christian at Bristol Lexus (Marshall’s) was excellent throughout.
  14. I have, finally, taken delivery of my NX 450h+ FSport and I am now spending some time getting used to all the control positions and tech. My last car was a Mercedes so it’s quite different. A quick update so far is an unnerving incident on my way home from the dealer and an issue often reported on this site. The first issue was after leaving the dealership and cruising on the M4 home the dashboard virtual instruments, Speedo etc, and including the HUD failed and then rebooted every 15 seconds or so. Anxiety inducing when travelling at 70 mph! The second issue was during a recharge on my home station the Lexus Link app reset itself to indicate the car was still ‘In transit’. I fixed it by logging into the Lexus.Co.uk site and adding the car back in with the VIN and some additional details. I haven’t experienced either issue again and it’s just into day 3 so looks like it’s all good. I am very happy with the car and look forward to getting more experience of it in the coming days.
  15. No disrespect taken. All I was suggesting is maximising the chances of getting good connections between the car, @mobeam ‘s mobile and networks of opportunity. In order to eliminate dodgy connections to resolve the issue. All on the assumption that the issue is one of connectivity. If there are other working solutions then all is good.   16. This looks like a connection issue. I suggest that you check your mobile phone is happily connected to the car. If not enable Bluetooth to see if that works. I would also see (if your home Wi-Fi signal is strong enough at home) that you switch on the car, make sure mobile is connected to the car and wait to see if the pop up comes on again before you set off. This should cover off the potential connection issues. I hope you solve it. Pete
  17. Hi Andymi Harrier Man is right. I asked my dealership who got the name of the ship from Lexus UK. you can then select from a few apps or websites that allow you to track progress. Though some do charge, so look for any that allow free access. Good luck! Pete
  18. Lexus has emailed to confirm my NX 450h+ FSport arrived at Portbury and is now on its way to the midlands. I know it arrived from Japan on Sunday evening as I was tracking the ship, so it’s close now. Hopefully just a few more weeks or would it better to wait for 1 March to take delivery. Views welcome!
  19. An update to my earlier post on delivery of NX 450h+. About 3 weeks back the App messaged me to say the car was in production and then a week or so later that it had left the factory. A quick email to Lexus Bristol asking for details of the ship with a reply (thanks Christian) that it was on MIGNON, and I have been following progress since. Currently MIGNON is in the Arabian Sea with an ETA of 29th December in the Suez Canal. I can't find any further details from the maritime app I am using but it's encouraging to know that the car is well on its way.
  20. Feeling a bit like this myself at the moment. I ordered an NX 450+ in May 22 and estimated delivery was Nov 22. The dealership rang a few months back and delayed to Dec 22. A few weeks later and I was told it would be early 23. At that time the App was stating the car was pre-prod. Thankfully it’s now updated to build in progress and my estimate it will be Feb 23, hopefully!
  21. Read the article and pleased it has reinforced my decision to buy an NX. My dealer has told me delivery has slipped from November to December but hopefully no further and just in time for Christmas 🤞.

  23. Hi everyone, I am a newbie - my Lexus is on order it's na NX 450h - Black with black/red interior. It's scheduled to arrive in November after placing the order in late April 2022. Looking forward to receiving the car and experiencing a new marque this will be my first Lexus. I will post any updates as they arise. Cheers, Pete
