  1. Hi I had a HCA20 car kit i installed about a year ago. This all worked fine using the mute cable etc. Recently upgraded phone and installed the HCA60 car kit. However, the wiring when transferred permanently mutes the stereo? The leads were connected exactly the same as last time. Any ideas?
  2. Trying to run a wire from the head unit to the cup holder in an IS200, I can get the head unit out using the instructions on the site but need further help to run from there to the cup holder location? Any ideas or instruction please.
  3. Considering that Lexus was Voted No 2 in the Top Gear chart it seems strange that there are so many people selling up. The only thing I hate about mine is the fuel consumption. But hey there is nothing I can do about that really to make a vast difference. I cannot believe that you are all selling to buy the new IS? COME ON PEOPLE DO YOU REALLY WANT TO SELL. IF SO GIVE US YOUR REASONS?
  4. I have a PSP and was just hunting around the IS200 looking for somewhere to put it. Has anyone installed it where the Satnav would go? (Thats if you dont have Satnav) If not would anyone be thinking of doing it in the future. I would love to be able to open the hatch and HEY PRESTO the PSP pops up in perfect position to watch a UMD film etc? I would love to do this myself but am not the type to design it :mat: , if you have any ideas please let me know. Thanks MB
  5. Hi, I recently went to America on Buisiness and while there I popped into Best Buy to find out if they had any Ipod gear. While there I noticed that on the shelf there was a Dension Ice Link Ipod adaptor for a Lexus IS300? It was priced at $199.00 Has anyone else seen this and if so does it work with the IS200 because i though Dension did not make an adaptor for the Lexus. Help please.
  6. Just been hunting around the net and saw this. I asked a few questions and this is the reply I got. http://www.caraudioplus.co.uk/pp/iPod_Car_...nk_Adapter.html "The Ice Link FM is the only option for your Lexus" This FM version is far superior to the iTrip as it uses a hard wired connection, and has been extensively tested by Dension not to give feedback or interference. Q No 1 - Has anyone got one of these? Q No 2 - Any feedback on this item would be welcomed?
  7. In the glove box. No holes or attachment needed.
  8. Can someone explain more about the wheel nut situation. I thought that when you put a wheel on, its on? Do I now have to do something specific to put the wheels back on the car? If so can someone please explain how I can do it properly. Thanks.
  9. There isn't a mark on either the discs or the pads. I was quite specific when taping off the area not needing paining. I am worried that the tracking may be out? Could this be the problem or am I just paranoid about the painting situation??
  10. Thanks thats the answer I needed. Yes I did once open the boot as well to put my Tuna Baguette sandwich in there!!
  11. I had an Audi TT prior to the Lexus and when I took this car in for the service they could tell if my alarm had been set off?
  12. When you take the car for a service, is it possible for the Dealer to find out of the computer what max revs were etc?
  13. I painted the callipers without removing from the car. I masked of the area I didn't want the paint on. I painted the callipers with a black smooth Hameright paint. No contamination of paint was placed upon the area of the discs or pads, however the air vent holes (i think thats what they are) had a little paint on the inside, however no paint went any further?
