  1. Yes, it is a brand new car through work Salary sacrifice scheme. It also gives £600 free electric charging which means no fuel cost for a year or 6000 miles.
  2. Same here, ordered in September 22 and no sign of build date yet. I have given up and getting my Tesla Y next week ready for delivery as they have inventory and I will be driving the new car next week. Given the monthly cost savings under salary sacrifice scheme, it is a no brainer to ditch ICE cars and more importantly, compared to electric cars which were all available within 3 month window I must admit Nexus waiting times are looking inexcusable and ridiculous. Who wants to wait for 12-13 months for a car and pay £50k upwards when you can have electric cars for £400 per month no deposit and includes insurance maintenance and tyre replacement!
  3. I know I might be roasted here for asking this question but has anyone compared new Kia Sportage self charging hybrid and compared to Nexus 350H? The price difference is £15k if you compare top spec Kia to F sport and having taken a test ride this weekend I think KIA have made a very strong contender to the premium brands and the technology in this car has been taken to next level. And the wait time is 6 months compared to more than a year. Comments and opinions please (but no abuse for posting about another brand here :))
  4. Ok, visited my Lexus dealer yesterday and the date on the system is showing October 23 now. Ordered 28th Sep 22 so 13 months from order. The caveat is that this is a default date Lexus are giving for a lot of orders that he is handling and he believes all these dates will come forward with improvements in supply chain/ production but Lexus are not promising anything to dealers at the moment. Dealers are equally frustrated with this situation but my hope for September'23 number plate seems more realistic after this visit.
  5. Ordered on 28th September 2022. NX350H F sport. No news on build date or delivery! Although I will be tempted to take delivery (registration) on 1st September even if it arrives a few weeks early to new number plate. Where did you get confirmation for build date?
  6. https://www.lexus.eu/discover-lexus/lexus-news/ Hey Deb, Here's the link for that news item. It says spring but will vary by markets so safe to assume builds after April/May should have it. My order was in September 22 so hoping to receive all the bells and whistles 🙂
  7. I wrote to customer relations email address hoping to go above the dealer but I got a call from my dealer next morning asking me why did I write to Lexus HQ! It seems they forward it to the dealer where car was ordered in the first place. In the end it was the same old message that don't expect it before 12 months.
  8. Hi Deb, I am in the same camp, ordered Sep22 just before price increases and then they stopped taking new orders. I have ordered NX350h FSport with panoramic sunroof. I got a good deal from my dealer, priced at 50k after discounts. I am also looking for other brands but finding it hard to match price, performance and spec on other brands compared to NX. Any suggestions on brand/make?
  9. Thanks, got a good deal in the end I think, £51k for F sport with Panaronomic roof and comfort pack plus 3 year free servicing. Now the long wait for delivery begins. Managed to get this deal before price increase in October. I have gone for Sonic Titanium with Black interiors but not sure if this colour has any impact on resale value or should still change to Blueor Grey to be on the safer side?
  10. Hi, I am a first time Lexus buyer. I have ordered F Sport NX 350h. What kind of dealer discount should I ask for as it is their quarter end in September and all the dealers are quite keen. The price of this model was circa £48k when I started my research earlier in the year and now it is £52k so feeling gutted about not ordering before. I was told by one of my neighbor who owns a Lexus that they dealers have 25% profit margin on new cars and it is quite normal to get 7-8% discount if they really want your business so keen to see if anyone managed to get this level of discount on NX.
