LL08 OOY MOT history is very good. Do I stretch the budget for a car that still has all the same potential risk as one £5k cheaper? Maybe the previous owner has his own garage so the car got a easy pass during MOT's? Maybe I'll take a look this week if its still available, but the garage selling it does not have great write ups on Google. Steve

Im in negotiations with the dealer but they don't seem to be too worried if they lose the sale. Thats the one, if I can get the warranty it seems to be the best option available at sensible money. Used car warranty would not cover control arm bushes etc as they are classed as wear and tear items. I doubt at this price they would agree to changing those parts but service and brakes I would expect to be done. Doing my homework, I can get a complete set of upper and lower arms for £450 imported. Im moving abroad in a few months so Im selling my Tesla and buying a LS to scratch a 10 year itch. Setting £10k as my limit but will stretch to £12k for that one if it has the warranty (inc Hybrid cover). I may well store the LS if I love it, but she'll need to be a good one. Nothing like the nervous excitement of gambling on a luxobarge 🙂

Hi, new to this forum and thinking of a LS600HL. Im curious if MotorMan found one and is happy with his decision. Ive found one on a 07 plate reg : GR07 ZKS, 111000 miles, and wondered if anyone here had owned or come across it before? Previous MOT's show wear in front control arms so assume they'll need doing at some point. Can I still get a Lexus health check done on the HV battery and get 12 months warranty on it being 15+ years old and over 100k miles? Any help would be greatly appreciated . Steve
