I have arranged an appointment to see someone who used to own a garage so can tell him to have a look at that and clean out the vent. @Notamech thanks mate, it is on 140,000 as I use it for work. Do you know if the message goes off automatically or do I have to turn it off with the machine and hope it doesn't come back on? Also, i am guessing battery is not gone yet then? If that goes then it costs a ridiculous amount.

Hi people Since last night, I have received this message as shown in the picture. When I turn the car on, it says 'cooling performance of the hybrid battery is low l, consult a dealer' and it has got me fearing the worst. I use the car for work and I mean the car seems to drive ok? I don't feel it has any issue with the battery as the hybrid works. I have seen some forums on here stating that the battery could be dusty and it just needs a clean but could it be worse than this?. Would appreciate it if anyone has experienced this then how did they resolve it. Thanks in advance again.

Thanks for your response. I will go to a garage to remove the headlight and put the new one as I am no good at that stuff plus need to get a few other things i.e bracket and daytime running light. But make sense about use ones, have messaged a few breakers like ColinBarber has suggested just to see what prices they come back with.

the guy said it is £100 cheaper if i pick it up in person. Oh yeah, didn't notice that. I have searched a few breakers on ebay like ColinBarber has suggested above and sent them a text message (most likely will hear back tomorrow as today is Sunday) so let's see what they come back with, if it is a lot cheaper then happy days but otherwise I will just go Lexus Parts Direct as safer option. Also, to add I contacted a few breakers such as Lexus breakers, breakyard and a few local to my house but however, none of them had any unfortunately.

Interesting, thank for your response Colin. I will definitely contact that person and find out how much he is charging for a headlight plus few other things that I need. You said it seems expensive but I have seen many around that price range?. Obviously if it is someone breaking a car like that then might be cheaper. It is around £460ish on Lexus parts direct so in comparison saving £200 from the link I had sent.

Quick simple question.. LEXUS IS 300H Left Passenger Side Headlight Complete Genuine | eBay << Does anyone know if this will fit on a Lexus IS 300H F sport or are the headlights different for a normal IS 300h and the f sport version?. I contacted the person, he said he was unsure but to bring it to him and he can have a look (Cheaper if i travel to him) but to avoid the travel and waste of time incase it isn't the right one so i thought i would ask here. I think I will take it to my garage where I got some works done, get him to see if its a any loose wiring, if not then i will see. Also, "But you can get non original ones cheaper if you're ok with that" Yes, I will be more than fine with that, could you point me in the direction to get non originals please, recently bought this car so struggling to find a website/scrapyard for it? My main head light comes on but is cracked so need to replace it anyway. would it fix the small light problem and turn on as well?.

Hi Firstly, a quick question, I noticed this morning that a front light was not working but unsure what it's exactly called. Could you guys please see picture attached, i know the headlights but below them, the passenger light does not work. Is this a easy fix or any idea what problem is or is it just a fuse?? Someone drove into my car overnight and drove off, that also on the passenger side so unsure if related to that. The headlight is cracked so that needs replacing. I have a Lexus is300h Model, f sport version and I have noticed that parts are very difficult to get hold off, more than likely have to go to a dealership which is quite expensive. Do you guys know of any Lexus scrapyards? and finally, any specialist garages you guys would advise around London for Lexus cars?? Thanks in advance guys.
