  1. Thank you everyone. The car is only ever driven gently from cold. We have a lot of hills around here so you do have to come out of the green a lot and it's turned cold my mpg has dropped to around 37mpg uk imperial gallons.
  2. That is my question. In all my years of doing my own oil changes I've never used an engine oil flush. I am wondering weather I need to or not to when you see how bad some toyota engines suffer from a tar like substance. I don't know what oil was used in the last couple of services so I have bought toyotas 0w20 as recommended, any info on oil flush and if there's a brand that works better than others. Thanks in advance.
  3. Matador are made by continental I had continental cross contact on my last car (jeep grand cherokee) a different beast but the tyres was good. I put a pair of matador tyres on my sons leon fr a fast n at that good grip in the dry and wet. On a budget I had accelara tyres on the jeep when I first got it they was quite good. Look on black circles then Google the tyres you like for better prices. Mark.
  4. My cds loaded with mp3 will eject or stop and eject when playing just got the car out of warranty never had an issue like it before.
  5. Well that's good beets me why they do things the way they do. If I was on the design team I would even build a cat guard in from the factory. Disklok, key pouches plus a box and wedged in with 2 other cars. What more can one do.
  6. I have bought the full wheel cover disklok is tricky getting it off with the key so without it would be a right pain. I will look at what's available for protecting the wires behind the wheel arch cover. Mark
  7. Just bought my first lexu. I immediately made and tested a Faraday box for the keys and ordered Faraday wallets, can I turn off the active signal from my key fobs. Also I would like to fit an immobiliser or am I better off trying to prevent access to cables under the wheel arches.
