  3. I was checking out the lead on ebat that bypasses the stock amp when using an aftermarket HU and just wanted to know if the Satnav will still work... This was the response i got from the ebay sell... Hi, Our understanding is that the lexus sat nav will still work but the sound from it plugs in to the factory headunit so using our lead you will lose this. There is a guy on the lexus owners club who sells a lead to get round this problem but we have not tried it personally. Cheers, Can some please help......
  4. Wow thats wierd, but had the same problem on Saturday when i was driving and my driver window just went bang. I have an IS200 also.Nothing came trhough the glass not sure if it was because on the tint that held the glass together , except when i had a good look it look like some thing hit it. A bit unusual tho as what ever was use was really small from the mark on the glass so it had to be fired with great force. Still dnt know what it is. And i was driving the car in the inner lane with no cars on the side where the window had broken and all vehicles were on a stand still as the lights were red just as they turned green it happened
  5. A bit hard to believe that no one has attempted this or has done this upgrade. Well this topic can be closed as i have mange to get it sorted, really easy aswell just needed a bit of time and the right tools.
  6. Hmm.....don't mean to sound negative bud, but is this safe - you're not gonna have the dye coming off onto yer clothes (especially if it's peeing down outside and you get in with a nice wet coat/shirt on) ? ← thats why am asking for other people's views. May be would be better if i went to a scrappy. Thanks
  7. Hi guys, I have change my car interior from the Oaklam to the Black interior. I manage to get hold of seats and carpet. The plastic bits the goes across the door lining I am thinking of praying black but 1 small problem i have is what to use to change the seat belt colour. Could i spray them or is it possible to dye them a different colour?
  8. Hi, Some help needed from those who have upgraded their seats. I have change my seats and having some problem connecting power to the passenger seat. My car is a 2000 model so the front passenger seat was manual operated with out power. The 1 i have now works with power. How do i identify wich wire to use to get power to the seats?
  9. Who to catact regarding these lights?
  10. Hi would any one with a black interior would like to swap for Oakham Interior in very good condition. Reason for swap is that my car is Black and i would rather to have a darker interior. The Oakham Interior is in very good condition
  11. The size and weight of the packaged body kit will be different to the unboxed items. You'll need to check with a dealer, or Chris.S ← I have spoken with UPS and the total length should be no longer than 330cm works out to be just under 9ft
  12. Hi can some one please confirm the actual length and size of the standard lexus body kitt 1 pair of sided skirts and fron and rear lip spioler. Am trying to work out with UPS how much this would cost to deliver
  13. I think a group buy on one of these system would be a good option as they are cheaper than the tracker system. Cant go wrong at £60 worth thinking about the prolex fingerprint immobiliser ← I wouldn't want thieves trying to hack my finger off in order to steal the car! :shutit: Just did a search on Google for "transponder immobiliser" and came up with the Microscan MI600. As long as you keep the transponder in your wallet or coat pocket your bunch of keys would be useless. I then searched for "immobiliser gsm". Eventually found the AutoCate 800 GSM paging system - immobilise your car just by sending it a text message. Mmmm... nice! Also came across this little beauty: the Autowatch 68Hi anti-hijack immobiliser. Of course this is of no help to Ally - I hope it all works out well for you mate. Hopefully:- Car will be retrieved in immaculate condition, or the insurance company will shell out full market value and you'll get one as good, or better, than the one that was nicked Thieves get caught, the police handcuff them in a cell, let you in with pipe wrench in hand for five minutes of "stress relief" Thieves eventually get 3-5 years Unfortunately Carlsberg don't run a police force. But if they did, it would probably be the best police force in the world. ←
