None of us have the real facts of the case.

He is an easy target though but why do people leave their kids with him if they even suspect anything. I think they're blinded by dollar signs personally.

Mind you he did say "everyone should go to bed with children"

which is probably not the best choice of words. I hope he's innocent chamone!

I had the same thing when I got my LS400 a few weeks ago, even the guy I bought it off didn't know it had remote locking.like the previous guys said the key snaps open and you can get to the Battery. The remote will only work up to about 2 metres from the car, this is normal according to the manual.one beep confirms doors locked, two for unlocked.There are no flashing lights or "Get back you ba :tsktsk: :tsktsk: :tsktsk: :tsktsk: d" voices. Also on the left of the steering column the remote switch has to be set to on or it won't work. Hope this helps. There are some good sites on line that sell the batteries for £1 to £2 each.

Just joined the club after I bought a Lexus LS400 a few weeks ago. I used to own a jag sovereign and felt a bit guilty buying a lexus but now I wish i'd bought one back then. (I'm loving it)

Spent the last 4 and a half years working in Saudi . Going back next month probably. I've just spent £350 on 4 new Pirelli P7's (great in the wet).

Just thought i'd better write something as I feel a bit wierd just reading all the posts.This is my first post so hello to you all :)
