  1. Thanks Chris. Matches the recommended numbers in the manual!
  2. Hi all...just rang L up at a few locations. They don't sell the bottles of the recommended Toyota ATF Type T4 anymore as they buy in bulk of 25 Ltrs. Have any of you noticed this. I need to change my oil soon and am stuck as I hear non Toyota oil and clog up the transmission. But I can't buy a few litres of the recommended stuff (as one could only a year back). Bummer. Any tips?
  3. Hi all... Just rang Lexus up for these, around 150 quid each but they say there are 3 types and they have a 10 digit number on the absorber to distingush in terms of fitting. Anyone know much about this? Don't really want to spend that much. Any other good options in the market?
  4. Nice one mate. Sounds about right. I just got by Lex that they would give 3.5 for mine vs a 11K IS250! And they have a 03 plate with 10K miles for £7K on the site! The 4K+ within the family seems much more pleasing now:)
  5. You guys are right I guess! It will only drop like a stone. The competition is an Audi A4 let's see what she goes with!
  6. So.....it looks like it may be 4500 (to a family member). Still not that happy as you see loads around the same price but with 70k! Someone talk me into letting it go...
  7. Bit of a headbanger. Plenty online for more than the recommended book prices for my spec of 3800. http://www.motors.co.uk/VehicleDetailsView.aspx?carid=31443876&imageNo=1 This one has higher mileage and I saw another few for around 6500! Crazy pricing....I don't want to undersell my car!
  8. According to a well known price guide, trade is 2880 and adjusted for my mileage 3780. Shocked! You see specimens online now with more mileage than mine for 6K+.
  9. Chris....it is the last IS 200 before they stopped them so not sure if that is Mk1...the 02/3 looked slightly different in the interior anyway. It is not Limited Edition...it is the SE...the LE came in a bluey metallic colour I think. Yes, it is fully loaded with sat nav, electrics. 5 sounds about right to me...just checking some of the online guides adjusted for my low mileage! Thanks
  10. I am looking to sell my IS200 SE to a family member and trying to get a fair price. 05 Plate Granite Sky IS 200 SE Auto 28,000 Miles Satnav 17inch wheels FSH for the first 3 years and serviced myself after. Good condition all round. I believe the very low mileage should bump up the price a little compared to the many high mileage cars on sale in the market. What would be a fair price according to your experience and knowledge please? I have been told Gbp4K but I see plenty of 03/04 plates with 60K+ miles going for that amount. Surely mine is more... Thanks D6J
  11. Hi....have any of you had a similar problem....I park in the same place but last 2-3 days I have noted that the key remote does not function, nor do the spares. If I park is somewhere else it is ok, however. I asked Lexus and they said drive the car for 50 yards and then get out Lock, Unlock, Lock and Unlock the car. That seemed to work in reseting something. Any ideas why this could be the case? The batteries seem fine...Lexus guy told me to make sure no metal is in the central console, which I have done. Thanks
  12. Hi all....got the vanilla pod out!!! took a few minutes - thanks for all your help. I still have the smell in the car though and it is the bacteria in the washer water it seems....will try to flush it out and use the baby Milton stuff failing that. Thanks a lot! Pictures attached of the item!
  13. Hi....I've got this same problem now....when ever I do the windscreen wash and the fan is on the car it just totally wiffs the interior out with a sicky smell. It doesn't go for a while either. What is this Milton thing??
  14. Guys, thanks for all your help on this....plan to open this up now that I have time! Well, I had the pod in my car as I was giving it to someone as a gift (fan of ice creams). Anyway, that person told me to just place the pod itself with my hand in front of the vent and turn the fan on....so as to get a nice wiff. I did so but out of some tragedy I tried to balance the stick on the vent. A daft act indeed and it went in!!! So that's story folks...I will let you know how it looks when I get it out (if I do!) Thanks again folks...
