Hi guys; I’m old returning Member. Had an old 1996 LS400, don 157000 miles plus; beginning to show its age like me, although I have a 10x3Mt carport with a 3Mt wide gate, I never kept the car under it was a pain opening and shutting it in bad weather, out the front there’s 40Ft pin tree, always dropping pine needles and sap; it ruined the body over 25 years. So, I’ve bought a cracking 1998 LS400 57000 miles showroom condition, payed over the top. Hi all, I need the gold membership secretary to contact me using my email address. As I have been out of the country for nearly a year and not on line. When I got back I found that my hard drive had crashed, so I replaced it and got my PC up and running and on line. Lost some data that I hadn't backed up, Lexus DATA had been lost so I cannot get at my Gold User name and password. I have managed to login to LS club trying various options that came to mind. I have managed to changed some of my personal details I.e. Email Address. Hi all, its about a year since I was on the forum,. Had some Quotes to have my Cam belt change including the tensioner, At £407 and with the idler pulleys £692, “Now” is it necessary to have the idlers replaced on my 1996 LS400 122000 miles. Your thoughts on this matter please. Regards Syd

Hello All On 1996 ls400 have squeaky problem on the front suspension after a approximately 30 mile journey on hot days; After stopping for an hour or sow, its okay again for a wile then it starts again. Sounds like sheet metal bending and tearing. Has any body had the same problem!! If sow the remedy please. Have a nice weekend. Syd

Found the gas type: - R134A should be used, 22.9-26.5 Ounces. Recommend by LEXUS, Manual. Regard Syd

I have been offered a laser beam detection device called a Zenon 950x pro which supposedly confuses the signal from a police operated laser speed detector or cash machine if you prefer. This product is available from an outfit calling themselves ROADNET automotive and is endorsed, a little loosely, My question is two fold, does it work and how effective is it. is it legal. I would appreciate any feedback from , I am sure, knowledgeable contributors to this board.
