  1. Did you buy it from www.ihaveto have.it? If so, Lee will happily exchange the faulty parts for you. I would've thought that the original supplier would be the first place to go if something is faulty so soon after buying it? I understand your frustration, but sabre ratlling won't achieve much :D

www.ihavetohave.it also has some forums that may be more fruitful than LOC.

What about that, Sam? Mines does the same, apart from when the 'technician' has it apparently!

that is another well known gearbox prob- as ur shifting into 3rd it feels as if a latch comes across blocking the lever going fully into the gate - sounds really wierd but those of you that have experienced it will know what i mean. its as if the syncro-mesh is working toooooo well:?:

So is it something that gets repaired or do I have to live with it, do you suppose? If it is a repair under warranty, what do I say the problem is, so that they know what I'm talking about?!?

Does it fit up in the lint tray?

No problems at all. The display is easy to read, with large, bold lettering. Where it is keeps it out of the sun, most times, and you do get used to the controls so you don't need to look at it all the time.

It may have been better higher up, perhaps eye-level, but then you have to drill for the wires, and it would stick from the dash a bit too much. Another place I thought of was up near the rear view mirror..............

  4. Chris,

You may want to consider putting the Orion into someone elses name - you'll be covered third party only on your own (IS) comprehensive insurance whenever you drive it. You'd have to park the Orion off the road, though, and you may have trouble taxing it with just your own insurance.

Let me have your details and I could do a bit of digging for you?

the details of the music/ad you're talking about is at:

A bit more digging suggests that Lou Reed sung it originally. I'm currently trying to get hold of either version.

    Div.

Seen that site today and added it tom my bookmarks! Thats were I got the original info from. Don't know who's singing the new version, though.

  6. Was in the dealers yesterday, and I noticed the new 200 and 300's come with Bridgestone Potenza tyres. Mine is shod with Dunlop Sport 9000. Why the change? Have they found a better match/performing tyre in the Potenza, or is it a cost thing, do you think?

You can also not use the existing gnd wire for the head unit. ground your head unit to something4-8in away. If neither work, or you dont want to avoid the harness you can by line surpressers from general electronics stores (Like radio shack). They are sometimes called ground loop isolators.

I have some suppressors from a while ago - are they all the same, or can they differ in some way? Where would you put a suppressor? In-line on the earth lead?

    Ta:)
