Why it is a toyota :D I disagree it's a Lexus - would you call a Lamborghini an Audi?

Please can someone help. On my IS 200 Sport - there is the word Toyota on all the windows - in the bottom corner. I would like to erase or cover this in some way - what options do I have? Thanks.

I've just been reading an article on the upcoming LS 460L and all I can say is what a car! As you've all guessed by now I found it totally amazing. I mean 8 speed gearbox, reclining rear massaging seats, 19" rear TV's and the list goes on and on. Correct me if I'm wrong but this is the most luxurious car ever , It's got to be better than a Rolls Royce, Bently etc. Amazing - as usuall Lexus lead the way.

I was hoping for some direction on this. Are there any badges available for the IS 200 - I was looking for a sport badge that i could possibily place on the boot - just a small subtle batch - does anybody know where i can buy one from? Also I've just picked up my front sports grill for the 200 and i'm well pleased - they even fitted it for me at no charge.

I have an IS 200 Sport and I would like to install the Lexus Sat Nav in it - as it does not allready have one. What is the best way of doing this - I mean where would I get the sat nav from, who would install it and how much would the total cost be? Thanks

I was hoping someone can advise. I would like to change my front grill on my IS to a sports grill is this a straight forward job - or should I have it done from Lexus? Any advise would be happily appreciated - thanks.

I think they are just working on the basic overview - but surely with a 4.6 litre in an IS the performance would be out of this world and would leave the AMG's and M3's eating dust - so that would be ideal for the European market. Also was it not true that the IS 300 was for the US market but eventually found it's way into Europe and UK - so there is hope. I agree - although I woudn't mind an IS 350 - but a tuned version would the icing on the cake with a nice sports kit etc.

Hello Everyone. As you've probably gatherd I'm new to this Forum - after rating the Mercedes and BMW's of this world I was totally overwhelmed by Lexus. In my opinion it's about time someone broke the dominence of the big 2 and for sure Lexus have done that. So given the choice between buying a Mercedes, BMW, Audi and Lexus - I naturally went for a Lexus and I'm now currently a proud owner of a Lexus IS 200 Sport. But what I'm curious to know as a fan of cars - is it true that there is a Lexus IS 460 coming out that is directly aimed at the racing entusiast and is to take on the AMG's and M3's - I've seen some secert shots and I've read some articles and I can trully say that I'm really excited at the thought of an IS with a 4.6 litre engine - that would be seriuoslly quick - so can anyone shed any light on this subject. Thanks.

Is it possibile to get hold of a beams logo like the one that is on the engine cover, but small and suttle enough so it can go on the back of the car?

The car is in West Midlands, I went to have another look at it. It does have a few glitches like the passenger side electric window does not work, vibration from the rear when you pull off ariel missing, but the seller asures me these are minor problems and they will be fixed. I do like the car. i also asked for 12 months warranty and he said he would put me with warranty holdings if i wanted 12 months, can any one explain how this works. Also if i wanted to have a lexus key because at the moment it's got the key and the plastic casing is a toyota case, i would like to know if i could get a lexus key with remote controll options, how much would this cost. Finally if i wanted to put the IS200 sport electric seats in how much would that cost and how much would it cost to get the original altezza interior re upholstered in leather? i would be very grateful for your help, thanks

Thanks, what does it mean if the log book says Lexus rather than Toyota? and he is willing to change the exhaust aswell as a very large spoiler on the back which i forgot to mention. When he removes the spoiler will the body work be effected?

Hello everyone, I'm new to this forum and I would like some advice on buying a lexus altezza. The car that i have seen is an S-reg champagne silver, i'm told its done 65 thousand km but there is no history from Japan. There is a slight crack on the left side rear light and a slight vibrartion where the exhaust is touching the body. The seller has assured me that these minor faults will be sorted. The vibration from the exhaust he said is because he hit the exhaust as he was coming of a kerb, which in turn is now touching the body. The car seems to be in good condition and it does have the SVA paperwork and the seller is willing to give me three months warranty. I am very keen to buy the car but i would like some advice on what i need to be asking and looking out for, while in the process of buying, also can the front grill be changed into the lexus grill, in stead of altezza and is there even the slightest difference in the shape of the body compared to a V-reg UK IS200 sport? I would be very happy if you can help me out. Thank you.
