I hear from a doctor friend that the couple with swine flu in Monklands Hospital were told that they were being put on a special diet of pizzas and pancakes. They asked the staff if this would help them get better, but were told "No, but it's the only thing we can slide under the door!"
Contrary to what's been suggested, oinkment won't work for Mexican swine flu. You will need juantibiotics!
Bored while commuting to by train or bus? Phone a friend and loudly tell them what a wonderful time you had in Mexico, .......then sneeze!
A man claimed his wife phoned him to say she was almost out of petrol but was afraid to go into the garage because of swine flu.
"It started in Mexico, not Texaco!!" he yelled back at her.
I phoned NHS help line but all i got was crackling on the line

Been in the family since June 2001. See no point in selling it and even if we did we would just get rubbish price. Still drives beautifully, way beyond its market value. Serviced by local garage.
Had my Royale Sapphire blue is200 auto since May 2001 its never missed a beat still in fact all thats ever needed doing is power steering belt and balljoints.Serviced by local garage cambelt changed at 56000mls now done just under 80000

I had BBS wheels on my RX when I first got it.
You just need to make sure that you get the correct offset.
Ok thanks for your replies
-
No - if the wheels are 8" wide, then you will have rubbing issues. I actually had my alloys machined down 3mm AND had my arches rolled to get mine to fit properly when I had my IS200. I was lowered on Eibach Springs with the et38 offset wheels.
Hi ok would any bbs alloy work
-
Hi all can anyone confirm please if 18 inch bbs ck 11 with an offset of 38 will fit ok on a is200 lowered on eibach springs i would post a picture of them if i could but i cant any reply would be appreciated ps;a company called rimstyle says they will

anyone with a MM IS250 ? is it one cd at a time ?
I also have a hard drive.............wtf........what do I do with that ?
Sounds like you have an HDD unit fitted to the auxiliary. My ML MM also has a 60 gig one, but it's an iPod ...comes up on the screen as a secondary CD drive with the Lexus iPod integration unit. I haven't tried to run an additional drive through the Aux port under the central armrest as well as the iPod which is now in the glovebox.
The onboard disc changer is a six slot for DVD or CD. The Nav unit runs off a separate DVD unit, not a hard drive.
Hi, Dave are those wheels on your is350 the Toms vp-8 19 inch as shown on your site

Hi there,
I wasn't particularly looking for a Lexus but I stumbled across a nice IS200SE auto at a trader near where I live. It is a 99V, has had 2 owners and 78000 on the clock. Fully stamped history and I can't find anything wrong with it other than he wants £6795 for it
I was intending buying something newer and am nervous about going for something this old. I read in a magazine that these are durable cars, so I am thinking it might be ok? I can't really afford a newer one of these, but I could get a much newer Corolla, Almera, or something for the same money.
Are they really that good? Should I go for it?
He also has a 00X IS200 SE manual (91000 miles and £6995) but I would prefer an auto - I am getting lazier as I get older. Are autos less reliable than manuals?
Thanks for your help.
Hi I own a 1999 is200se Auto had it 4+ years regular main dealer servicing covered 55000 mls not had a single problem runs today as it did first day i picked it up make sure its been looked after you wont regret it

Woah! thats really good return!
I've tried the same method, only managed 250 miles
That is brave the furthest on one tankfull i dared go was Brighton to outskirts of Edinburgh 428 miles.
