I have owned my is250 2011 for 1 year now. Full main dealer history. 58000 miles. Main service has been done. Over the last few months when braking and steering at a low speed there are a couple of clunks that sound like they are coming from the front drivers side wheel. I look it to lexus Hatfield and under warranty they replaced the shock absorber and top mount. The car seemed to be ok for a while but not long ago the clunk noise has appeared again. It also only happens when the engine has warmed up. Some people have suggested the pads are moving but the pads and discs are reasonably new so shouldn't be moving yet. Any ideas

Hello. My 2007 gs450h makes a metallic knocking sound from the front brakes. It is more prominent when I move forward slowly, then brake, then reverse slowly, then brake, etc, as opposed to during general driving at speed. It doesn't sound like worn bushes. It has a higher metallic pitch. Front pads and discs are new. But the sound was there before I changed them anyway. Please see attached video and have a listen. It's driving me nuts. Hi all, Well I have bought my first Lexus, it is a 1999 IS200 SE Auto. When I bought it I noticed a knocking sound coming from the engine. Now I know it has high mileage 300,0000 but it is only two owners and runs perfectly. Since I have had it I have done the following: Changed the oil with fully synthetic + 1 quart Marvelous Mystery oil, Oil filter, Spark plugs, Air filter & Cabin filter. Run for 500 miles and changed oil again Run for 1000 miles and changed oil again + 1 quart Marvelous Mystery Oil and oil filter (oil is Castrol Edge 5w 30) But the sound is still there so I made a video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vfiOpeQk1dg&feature=youtu.be I hope you can help me sort this because this noise is driving me crazy. Many thanks Paul
