  1. Yes the built in...that nav has an odometer cable and the real velocity is recalculate in the nav with this program... in fact under gallery, or whenever ther's no gps signal, it carry on moving your position... and real strange, I believe it has two reciever, cause if you are not parallel with the street the pointer is ALWAYS in the right place hope you understand my faulty english
  2. As far as I know the nav on is220 can be calibrated just for tyre size, and you can do it yourself... take a look at the nav manual :)
  3. the connection for the headphone is preamplified, yuo should connect the jack down with a dock just like this one http://catalog.belkin.com/IWCatProductPage...oduct_Id=193794
  4. 5,5 to 6 kilos with filter changed
  5. http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html try this :)
  6. I found that, if, with engine off, you press and hold the start, without clutch, you can just do whatever you want... with the dash off, jumping the two press
  7. old one: 4 airbag bi-colour interior different dashboard voltmeter position armrest too low two spray for each window cleaner side mirror always hot new one 6 airbag monocolour interior armrest in a right position three spray sidemirror hot, if you want with the rear window sorry for the english
  8. Hi, I don't know if in U.K is the same as here in italy, but in my is220 I have only two turn light on the front (in USA have four) and no light for the position light ( the orange stripe in the front light, and the lateral red in the rear) I take a look at a rear one, the connection is still there, but the back of the light is soldered, no way to put inside the light without make a hole... The volvo ones, have these lights mounted, I know here in italy the law don't ask for this but neither to take away... These light are very useful when you are on corners...
  9. If I remember right, the second number, /40 or /45, is a percentual related of the size, then the 215/45 should be 96,75 and the 235/40 should be 93,6... and so on :) with your current tyre size I would consider put a 245/40 on the rear, to correct it (remember more you increase the tyres, less you accelerate) http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html
  10. It's so hard to explain in a different language The 6 gear can be sporty or economysavvy ok, but if its sporty it has to be long enough te let the engine raise I never had a car that goes "out of rpm" (i hope is the right way to write in english) in the final gear. The diesel one has the final gear economy, but if you cannot put it under 120kmh (or you spend 10 minutes to raise to 160) is way too long to be useful. If the ratio of the gears is right, the is220d sport version will be just a make up version, 18 tyres, aluminum vs wood and so on... anyone sees a car with the SAME engine, but different gear ratio? come on, it's the third lexus i buy, i'm in love with them, but when they're wrong, they're wrong
  11. the is200 was standard, the "problem" (but not so much) was that the engine had power enough to go at 230, but the 6 gear was too short, now the is220d has a 6 gear tooooo long, and the engine is'nt able to rev up sorry for my english
  12. I purchased two is200 and now I've an is220d, wonderful of course, but, why the hell the 6 gear is so difficult to put in right, explain: my "old" is200 at 6250 rpm and 220kmh were out of...and the engine still had much power to go...the is220 at 3200rpm is at 225kmh and the engine is totally dead what do you think about it? the ratio is the same for the is220 and is250? or the 350???
  13. Hi, I'm from italy, I can just give to you my opinion about the is220d vs the is200, I haved 2 is200 and now from march I got a is220 luxury and MM, the big difference, apart the interior (another world from the old one) is the engine, I was afraid to change from a 6cyl to a 4cyl diesel, the difference is big, honestly, but just under 1800 rpm 230 kmh with my old one, if just fake, I never saw sorry for the english :P
