I've registered with the Lexus Customer Portal; registered my car and can see that there's a map upgrade.  Problem is that when I try and download the new maps, the portal says that there's no car registered!  Yes there is.  So I can't download map upgrades.  To make it more annoying, I've emailed the portal to explain the problem, had an email acknowledgment and 1 week later still no response from Lexus.

Has anybody had a similar experience or knows how to download the maps?

Had the same problem when I bought my new Exec in September - registered with the portal to check I had the latest version - I did not so tried to download it.  Final screen told me to consult my dealer!  When I did so they agreed to update it without charge (took a couple of hours).
