Ride Becoming Harsh

When i first got my car i was surprised at how well it soaked up the bumps for a "sports car" with 17 inch alloys....

but lately i can't say the same, definitely the ride is becoming more harsh..... so I'm wondering what's changed and how to make it smoother again?

It seems to be worse at the front!

Would it be the shocks are on the way out?

Tyres have about 5-6mm left....also i don't get any wobble or vibration

what else wears out on these cars.... I've heard " ball joints " mentioned a lot but what are the symptoms for that?

Where do i start diagnosing ....... don't want to go to Mr. Toyota unprepared.

thanks guys

Sounds like mine... I'm probably going to do my tyres this week, inside edge is well scrubbed out. My rear shocks are definitely getting sloppy, so I'll do all four fairly soon too. If I remember I'll let you know how I get on...
