Whele Refurb

I went to talk to a lad about getting my wheels refurbished,

He said he could do the job for €460 but advised me that after he polishes and lacquers the lip that the finish wont last, that in less than a year the lip will be stained. Does that sound right, I would have thought that the lacquer would be enough to seal them.

He then offered me a set of these, Mak Iguan, for €490 plus mine as part exchange, no tyres in the deal I would keep my old one's.

What yis think? I'm not sure, why would he want mine if he thinks they cant be repaired to a good standard. I've checked eBay, I cant find the exact wheels but there are other 18" Mak's going for €356.

Sounds like he's trying it on Telling you yours won't last but trying to sell you new ones in the same breath

Personally unless you want new wheels I'd find another company :winky:

Sounds abit strange to me and personally i prefer the wheels you have anyway!
