Summer's here!
I know that Summer has definitely arrived as my mystery squeak has returned. Must be related to heat/temperature I suppose. Last year Lexus Leicester cleaned out the dust from the front brakes and to be fair I can't say that I've heard it since - until today. I doubt I will make a special Journey to complain but it is irksome. It usually occurs when I pull into my street, so driving slowly, at a speed of no more than 15mph. It's not all the time. It's high pitched and seems to emanate from
RZ450e not charging
Tried various public chargers but my RZ450e will not charge... public charger message says "Starting" but doesn't change from this and the charge port on the car is not locked. What am I doing wrong? Down to my last 20% 😞 My other car is a Tesla Model 3 - had it for almost 4 years and never had a charging issue. Only 3 weeks in and a bit disillusioned with the car despite loving the look, space, and the way it drives
Oil leak on GS450h
Hi all Just been checking around my vehicle and discovered oil on the floor pan , not sure if this has recently started or been there since i had the car just over three months now. The oil is quite fresh and light brown in colour as I felt it. It is not dropping down beneath that plastic cover as no drops on my driveway where it is parked most nights. Also no drop in oil level on the dipstick and the temp reading is mid way on the gauge so never goes. Will post up pictures but it look
TPMS battery check - Techstream
Can anyone tell me how to get the Battery status in the TP sensors using Techstream? I read a post here some years ago by Britprius (RIP) which said you could see the Battery state. (And he subsequently went on the explain how to change the batteries). My car is coming up to 10 years and imminently needs new tyres. I'm thinking of changing the batteries first but it looks like a bit of a pfaff. I really don't want to get new sensors. I've tried with Techstream and I get the Data List and it
2005 LS430 - New Owner: Looking for advice/tips
Hey everyone, I purchased my LS430 on Tuesday (07/05) and have a few questions around little things I have noticed now I have had the car for a couple of days. The first thing I noticed on the drive home is that the drivers side sounds a bit louder than the passenger side, I know the silencers can blow on these so that was my first thought. I had a look underneath while it's been on my drive and noticed a bit of rust/not deep divets on both of the silencers. This is something I am goin
Any 12v battery issue with RX 450h+ plug-in hybrid?
Hi I have a 2020 RAV4 HEV and I'm thinking of getting a new RX 450h+ The Rav4 has an issue with the 12v Battery going flat, normally in winter, after 2/3 weeks of not using the car. I just wondered if this issue is present in the RX? Many thanks
