I got 55.8 Miles when my light came on on the M4!

But i was driving at between 50-60mph and easy off the gas here and there!

When I got to Reading shell petrol station I filled my car with 63 litres and the tank was full!

Seeing that the petrol tank is 70 Litres!

Im thinking it is between 50-70 miles depending on how you drive!

I was flashed by a Tru Velo (forward facing camera I was doing 50mph in a 40mph zone nr feltham on 1st July!

Nothign has come through so far thank ***!

Im 28 2 years NCB held licence for 11 years and got quoted £470 Fully comp by A plan.

£250 excess, £50 winscreen excess and UI can drive other vehciles not belonging to me with the ownders permission.

Last year I paid £530 with A plan

This year £470 saving £60 im well chuffed for once!

6 years or 100K whichever comes first!

They look sweet on a silver Lexus!

But mines black not sure how it will come out!

I seen them on e bay for £32.00 all in delivered from USA!

But they have the red bulbs im not so sure how long they will last compared to standards, cos i cant be arsed to keep changing them if they dont last that long but then again how often do u use the rear fogs !!!!!

I find with M3's is that no matter what reg they all look sweet from MK1 upwards!

Both my Uniroyals and Flakens had inner wear just like the above DR's Pics!

And my mate whos seeing the Dr abt his lexus had exactly the same wear wheere the thread was out and very dangerous!

As my mate complained when he broke the steering wheel used to shake loads but his wheels and tyres were balanced and he had 4 new discs!

He foudn out that his tyres were dead from the inners!

Hi I had the same prob!

Went to get car serviced and asked them to align it for me on the machine!

Yeh im gonna prob go see him in Oct/Nov Ill have done 2K by then!

I had all four shocks fitted today by DR BONES and cant speakly highly enough of him!

Not only did he help me out initially in looking for shocks and their prices, His service was brilliant as I posted a PM to him and he got back to me asap last Friday in his own time! He kept me updated on prices of shocks that he was shopping around for and was really helpful!

In the end I managed to pick up a bargain on my front shocks and a decent priced set of rears all KYM OEM!

I went to see him today and got the shocks fitted and was amazed that all four were done in 1 HOUR yes thats 1 HOUR!!!! Must be a record and no probs fitting them either they all went straight one!

Also got my Geomatry done and was amazed at how detailed the DR gets! He was going on about camber this and degrees that I didnt know what he was on about but I just kept agreeing with him LOL !!!

After the Geomatry my car feels alive again No rubbing noise when turning full lock to the right! No Knocks! The car felt so smooth and glided along the road! The handling has improved loads and the car feels stiff and solid again!

Amazing service, Brilliant guy to chat to, and Legendry Geomatry setter! :winky:

I would recommend any one with an IS200 to get the Geomatry done by the DR!

OEM is Original Manufacturer!

Id get the Belt and Idler changed it cost approx £75 from Lexus!

To be honest any air and oil filter will do!

The Front shocks arrived today!

I cant believe I picked them up from eBay for £14.99 each thats £30 in total!!!!!!!!!!!!! Absolute steal!!!!!!

And they are Original boxed Toyota componants!!

Having a closer look at them they have the part numbers on them and have KYB gas shocks etched on them!

So KYB do make the OEM shocks for Lexus!

Mine r black!

I think OEM should be black!!

Correct me if im wrong!

I had same prob mate!

Lexus Reading quoted me £652 for all for!

I managed to pick up OEM ones off eBay front for £45!

And KYB rears for £108

As far as I am aware the shcoks are standard for all models from 99-05!

And KYB make OEM shocks for Jap cars anyhow!

I would change the shocks too!

Have a look at the bushes condition aswell!

I lowered mine 30mm with Eibach and now 1 shock has popped i have done almost 100K!

So at yr mileage its just a matter of time b 4 the lowering with affect yr old shocks if they are old!

I got some front discs and pads for £60 off eBay!

However they squeek when comming to a stop!

t was annoying at first now I dont care they work fine!

I will let them fade then change!

But this time I will go for Decent pads MINTEX!

I have 17's oEM on!

I went 30mm anf think its perfect for looks, handling, ride comfort!

However I have popped a shock since!

So all 4 r gonna be done now!

Im going to see the DR very soon!

As soon as my shocks arrive!

I hope he solves the Front inner tyre wear Actually im 100% certain he will!!
