  1. Jesus, sorry to hear about your son mate, hope he is ok I am glad i got the Dunlop 9000's on monday,i grumbled about the expense and some 'friends' thought i was daft for not getting a cheaper alternative....I fel justified now Hope your lad feels better
  2. Im looking to see who is currently based in the NorthEast and uses LOC.I have looked around and am struggling to see if there is any activity up here :duh: So...say hello and where your based in the area.Do you know of any local meets arranged ? would you be interested in a local meet? i think it would be good to get together with others from the area, what do ya think? I will start then.... My name is Justin,i am 31 and based in Monkseaton,on the coast.I am married to Heather and have Two daughters aged three and seven.I am nightshift manager for J.Sainsbury's and spend most of my spare time split between, family, football, and computer, and the IS200se of course
  3. More standard cars than i expected to see,i think it looks great as it is.....thats not to say i won't tinker a little in due course :P I expected to see a heavier percentage in favour of moddified :)
  4. But how are we defining "standard" and "modified" ← I was thinking ,"as it came from the dealer",so if it had a factoy fit spoiler or uprated scuff plates when it left the dealer this would still be standard. By moddified i mean engine/body mods, painted calipers, lowered etc...
  5. My IS200 is completely standard and i wondered if many other peeps in the club had kept their cars standard :)
  6. I have been having bother with the e-mail notification and have had to post in this section as i couldn't see a specific section to post in. This idea any good :)
  7. Cheers for the reply Fella :winky: The other post i made in this section entitled"what about regional sections?" i was getting no notification to,despite Mr Morse's reply. I am also getting multiple replies to two posts i have replied to in the is200 section. I am using Outlook Express and am not set up to delete any messages from LOC.I have also checked the box in my controls to receive e-mail notification and selected the immediate update box. I think its probably a simple thing but i can't see it at the moment. Thanks for the help Matthew :)
  8. ← Meeting your fellow members can be done through local Mini-Meets IMHO ← Your point above is exactly why i think there should be regional sections..I haven't a clue who is in this club and are local to me.I don't want to travel 800 miles to meet people so a 'northEast' section etc..would be ideal to get to know fellow people from the region without creating a post somewhere entitled "do you live in the NorthEast?" :)
  9. Anyone help with this? 50 views and no replys I now either get multiple replies on a topic or non at all :duh:
  10. Cheers for the reply Mr Morse,I can't beleive there isn't a regular meet in the North East anyway,or have i missed the post Sounds like something to sort out.. :winky: Anyway what do you think of the suggestion i made?
  11. I have watched part of a DVD on this unit and the picture quality was really good, this is what i would look at doing if,sorry i meant when, the standard headunit goes Pete Tong :winky:
  12. Hi peeps Like the title says,i think regional sections would be helpfull as they could be used to introduce yourself to fellow members living in your area or to share local information on good places to get stuff for your car. As a Newbie, speaking from personal experience i would like to know of any locals in this club so we could share local knowledge I know it was suggested in another post but i hink it works on a local level, yes it might not be brimming with activity but if i wanted to get my windows tinted in the newcastle area i would check the local section to see if anyone has had this done and read the personal experience etc.. Or if there was a local meet on this is where i would check for posts...you get the idea what do the powers that be think?
  13. Head unit looks great,i know Halfords can supply the adaptor plate, they don't stock them in branch anymore but can order them :)
  14. My top 3 are 1. Scarlatti Red 2.Royal Sapphire Blue 3.Platinum Ice 4.Astral Black I know i put 4 but it would be rude not to have Black on the list
  15. whiteman.... Don't mean to hi-jack the thread but you don't have any gold rear badges in that garage, mine are fading badly
  16. Lexus did mine at 92k..Too much to lose to leave it till 100k in my opinion :winky:
  17. Congratulations fella,Nice colour you got,my second favourite :winky:
  18. Cheers Dude :winky: I will go see Lexus Newcastle soon as i get the warranty transferred from previous owner :D
  19. Hey peeps Can anyone tell me if the boot is meant to lift up of its own accord.I press mt button,it unlocks but doesn't lift up at all.I am sure it is but can't remember for definite.Maybe its the rear spoiler weighing it down? Anyone know?
  20. Ah!! That would be the scroll bar i didn't bother to use then :D
