  1. The better your tyres the more they squeel on certain types of surface. I love it.
  2. If the fluid and belt tension is good. check all the hose connections to the rack, pump and reservoir, Make sure they are air tight. Failing that it might be the pump istelf.
  3. Slight chance it could could be the head gasket. Check oil & water, make sure they are not mixing.
  4. Anything that involves timing, Air filter, Air Flow Sensor, Fuel Injection ? (all governed by the ECU). Try resetting the ecu now that you have new plugs and coils. Also if you've got a gauge it would be interesting to do a compression test on all 6 cylinders and see how 1, 2 & 3 compare with 4, 5, 6.
  5. It's definately not discs or pads, Lexus checked them recently and said they were fine, with abt 40% wear on pads. It sounds suspension related, the noise is more of a 'CLUNK' which seems to be transmitted through either the suspension or the body. But it only happens with the wheels turned. I had a good look but can't see anything untoward. I might get Lexus to have a look at it when I get back off my hols.
  6. I get the same problem from the front right hand side. I only get it when going over bumps with the wheels turned (normally when turning onto my driveway). I assumed it would be a bush or ball joint, but I'll Lexus to have a look when it goes in for service.
  7. Yeh It does look like concentrated screenwash, that's the exact colour of bright yellow it is. However the screenwash I've always used is blue, so it can't be that.
  8. Interference from a device at the booth, affecting only the left channel on your stereo/amp ?
  9. Whenever I leave my car in the garage for a couple of days a small puddle (approx 5cm) appears under the back of the car, it's level with with rear wheels and slightly off centre (to the right). The fluid is extremely bright yellow in colour, almost flourescent and it has no odour. My first assumption was that the diff was leaking so I put the car over the pit but couldn't spot any leaks or yellow fluid anywhere. The underneath of the car was however very wet but it looked like rainwater from the road. Anyone got any ideas what it might be ? Could it just be water running off and picking up some colouring from something on the way ?
  10. My IS200 has a silver sticker under the bonnet saying KANTO AUTO WORKS. This is their website http://www.kanto-aw.co.jp/eng/
  11. Yep, the sport does have them, but they don't give an audible warning, they just flash. As far as I am aware there is nothing to enable you to switch it off (maybe there is a fuse ?). The sensors are located in the bottom part of the seat.
  12. My auto lights work perfectly, they come on when it's very dull or I go under a tunnel, and will turn off again as soon as it brightens up or I leave the tunnel. When I purchased the car the dealer told me that if I wasn't happy with the sensitivity of the auto lights, take it back and they would adjust it for me using their plug in computer thingy.

  14. Hi Guys, What are your thoughts on this ? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...AMEWA%3AIT&rd=1
  15. I didn't bother looking at it myself in the end. I took it back to the bodyshop. Turns out they had just left the wiring connector off. All working fine again now.
  16. Cheers for that, I'll try it tomorrow and let you know how I get on.
  17. The rear drivers side door had a new door skin fitted, the front drivers side door had a new moulding/bump strip fitted, also paint spraying on these bits. (using the Lexus approved bodyshop). Nothing that should have effected the mirrors.
  18. Yeh I've looked at the fuses in passenger and drivers side footwell as well as under the bonnet but I'm unable to locate the correct fuse. I tried quite a few which I thought may be on the same circuit but all are ok. So, if it turns out its not a fuse, what else should I look for ? It appears that the mirror heating is working but just not the electric adjustable mirrors and the mirror folding motors.
  19. Which fuse is it ? as the list on the back of the panel doesn't say anything relating to mirrors.
  20. Hi guys, Which fuse covers the electric mirrors and mirror folding ? I've just got my car back from the bodyshop and they don't work.
  21. It comes down to three things: . What kind of copper he/she is . What kind of a day he/she is having . His/her first impression of you I've been let of with loads of stuff in the past, I even got let off with speeding because I was wearing a Birmingham City Football Shirt (before they were in the Premiership). Instead of having the usual lecture which normally replaces any penalty, all I got was a 15 minute conversation about football. Top Copper! :D
