As i have one week of at the job in early september, i'm planning on driving over to the UK. The reason is simple: Here in cold Norway it's allmost impossible to get a hold of mod's for my Lexus, and if i buy for instance a new exhaust system over the net, the shipping prices will be scary... And since i'm no good at installing such things, it will cost me a great deal of money to get it fitted too... So i have decided to drive there myself and buy everything i can afford and get it fitted while i'm there... This will actually save me quite some money, and i get to go on a little vacation too... Anyway, the thing i'm wondering is where to go? and whom to speak to? I'm mainly after cat-back stainless exhaust like the Kazama, and induction kit, and get my rear lights tinted... Maybe if my budget allows it, some Xenon headlights... Any ideeas guys?

It seems to me that you are in a bit of a twist here... I have had one IS200 before the one i have now, and when i had the old one i did regret rushing into things... I have allways wanted the granite sky and went with a black one... 4 months later i sold it (actually making £2000) and bought a granite sky... My advice is to wait and maybe look over the border for just the right colour. You're probably going to have the car for quite some time, since it is an EXELLENT car, so it is essential that you really like the colour too... Get the colour YOU like... Personally there is only one

From what i have heard it's alot more work to it than the front lights... Witch i can't understand... What is different with the rears? is there a different type of glue or something?

Hi! I'm about to tint my rear lights, but it seem quite alot harder to do than the head lights. So i'm askin you guys to help me out a bit... Can anybody tell me the easiest way to take the lighs apart? I'm planning on spraying the chrome reflector thingy, but i can't get the glass apart from the rest of it!!! So if anybody have done this or for some reason know how, PLEASE help me out here...

I agree... if you want the xenon look, don't buy these... I was really dissapointed, but then again, what can you expect for that price?

Sounds nice... I'll have the air intake for sure, but i'm still thinking about the exhaust... What is the sound like in combination with the induction kit? is it silet all the time or can i make it roar a bit on command? And power increase?

I'm thinking about getting an induction kit VS an panel filter... And to be honest, i'm not after BHP increase, but rather the sweet sound... I read on this test that the apexi filter may be the best in filtration... So is there anyone who can get me an induction kit with the Apexi filter? Or do the panel filters make the nice sound i'm after? I'm not exactly a mechanic, so i need it to be not too hard to fit... i'm also after a new exhaust, but i'm a bit torn... What shall i choose? I want something that sounds grrrrrrrrrrrrrrreat when i hit high rev's, but i also want it to be a bit silent when i'm in the mood for easy driving... If you know what i mean... Anything would help here guys. I'm really frustrated and want to get my hand om something ASAP... Hi! I just bought new rims for my Is200, but i cant get a hold of any center cups for them... I'm also thinking about painting the brake callipers, but i want them to say "lexus" like some of your's do... Any ideeas on where to get these items?

Is there anyone who can help me tint some headlights, or trade in a "normal" pair for a tinted pair with some cash in between? I have tinted a pair before, but i did'nt manage to seal them properly... So this time around, i want some professional help... The same for the rear lights, want them tinted too... They look better when they are a bit darker... Any help apreciated...

Check the trunk. If there is a 17" sport rim spare tyre, it is most definetly a sport. Most people dont go that extra mile to make it a sport unless it's a sport. The soprt came with the 17" sport rim as a spare tyre...

Thank you all for answers! Does anyone know the difference between the 2000mod and a 2003 mod? I know there is Xenon lighs, different headlights and tinted rear lights... but is there anything else?

Hey everyone! I just sold my car (Seat Leon) and i'm looking to buy my 2nd Lexus IS200... I had an IS in 2001, and i regreted to ever have sold it... So now i am redeeming myself and getting a new one! But boy, in this country it's hard to find a decent one! Do you have any advice to give me before i go ahead and buy one? Automatic gear VS Man. Gear? Navi, any good? 1999mod - 2001mod or 2002mod - 2004? I am happy for any information! it would be nice to get your oppinion on the matter, since you guys have all the knowledge... ...And, sorry for my bad english... Thanks for a great club... Chris
