Hi guys! I am admin/moderator on the Lexus OwnersClub - Sweden forum, but since we are not that many Lexus owners in Sweden I must ask you guys if you have seen anything like this! Has anyone of you guys had the same problems with rust? My car is an Lexus IS200 Sportcross and it is now 8 months old! Rust

Well... My car, Lexus IS200 SportCross -05, will be six months old next month and it has MORE stone chips than my previous car, a BMW 3-serie E46 -99. My Lexus dealer nearly told me to p-ss off when I told him I wanted it fixed under warranty. Unfortunately here in Sweden many Lexus-dealers are mainly Toyota-dealers since Lexus is a very small brand here. I have heard that customer service is much better at dealers only selling Lexus. I hope you have more luck than I had! Opps! I have had it from new, soz about 2 1/2 years left now; I only keep a car for 3 years & will change it when it runs out or when the IS350 arrives. ←

I am thinking of changing my stock bulbs, don't know which brand they are, for Philips Bluevision on both low beam and high beam. Will it look that better? Will the road lit up worse than my stock bulbs?

So, being a genuine Jaguar-fan I kind of miss the woodtrim interior! I have seen woodtrim interior in the Lexus Accessory-catalogue, now has anyone seen this IRL? Any idea on how much it is?

When buying my IS200 SportCross I could not chose the bigger stereo! Now, does anyone know if it is possible to upgrade the stereo to the nine speaker system?

Whoa! That doesn´t sound right to me! What happens when you are going to sell the car and someone wants to check the servicebook?

How is your "lock all doors"-button working? If I press the lock all doors-button all doors lock and the lock-indicator on each door shows the doors are locked! Now the thing is even though the lock-indicator on the driver door shows that the door is locked the door can still be opened from the outside! Can you guys try this on your IS200, please? I thought the "lock all doors"-functions was meant for having the car locked when being in the car and stopping at red lights and not having to worry for thiefs!

Sorry to hear about your problems, I do hope you´ll get the car fixed soon! My Lexus is now 4 months old and I have had MORE problems with this Lexus than on any other of my previous cars! I have owned 8 Jaguars, 4 BMWs and some Swedish cars aswell but none have failed me like the Lexus! It is not only the car that fails, Lexus Sweden is rather awkward to deal with... I am stuck with the Lexus and I will do the best of it but I will never ever buy a Lexus again! I will probably "give" the car to my mother i August/September and order a new BMW 3-serie Touring! My list of things that have went wrong with my Lexus is, to me, way too long...
