  1. This is getting rather convenient dont you think ? This is happening a few days before each of the last 2 GP's ? Getting more publicity maybe ? I'm sure next week it'll be something new again boo boo boo, dont see this crap in MotoGP, WTCC, WRC, BTCC WSB, BSB etc etc etc F1 too big for own boots, maybe a break aways series would bring them all back down to earth.

  2. I'm gutted, whatever "allegations" there were about him, he was a musical legend, I absolutely cannot believe it :crybaby:

Only thing I can't help thinking is that with all his debt, and impending mammoth concert tour, did he find it too much and decide to end it himself?

That was my thinking too Parthiban. I'm sure all will be revealed in due course.

On another not, i hope i get my concert ticket money back!

    RIP MJ

Did you pay on credit card ??

  3. Anyone find this a little odd considering they just released a load more tickets for gigs ??? Surely they knew his health state reaping him before he passed or an elaborate faking death jobbie. I find it funny that people we're still buying tickets even though he was only contracted to be on stage for 12 minutes at each gig Lol.

As you can tell I dont have much time for celeb's especially pretty fecked up ones with the history he has, people still seem to be forgetting all the allegation against him.

Someone who might no what will happen to all the tickets for his gig with people who paid by credit cards ? Will they be able to claim there money back.

  4. Anyone going ?

I'll be there with a few mates, time attack last year was pretty good there, the dori action should be pretty good, not sure what part of the track their doing yet though.

Its £15 a ticket if u book online before midday tomro and £20 on the day.

  5. Could just be a bluffing game to get what they want, the FIA have had alot of interest from other companies for the new reg's so probably aren't that worried about costings and filling the grid etc, fan base would take a massive hit unless they get some big name drivers for the new teams.

I dont see what the teams will/could make series wise though, a no ruled series with no budget cap ? Think they need to come to terms with the fact that times are changing and that its not ok to spend hundreds of millions each year.

We'll see what happens over the coming weeks.

i think youve missed the point. all teams have agreed to caps but wanted this staggered over the next few years so that they can minimise the immeadiate impact on their teams and amongst other things not have to dismiss hundreds of people..

I very much doubt that, yes its a big drop but im sure many people including drivers will take pay cuts if they keep there jobs, yes people will have to be let go, but the big bosses really wont be giving to much thought to that, bigger companies like toyota, BMW and ferrari could give them jobs else where in the company, and also if you've got "worked for F1 team" on your CV getting a job within the motorsport industry wouldnt be hard at all.

A break away series would take a while to set up and even then it would have to be over seen by the FIA, unless they plan on making there own governing body as well lol

  7. YOU ALL NEED TO GET A LIFE BB IS THE BIGGEST WAIST OF TV AIRTIME AND IF PEOPLE KEEP WATCHING IT, IT WILL BE ON EVERY BLOODY SUMMER. YOU ARE WATCHING PEOPLE LIVE WHY DO YOU NOT GO OUT AND LIVE YOUR OWN LIVES INSTEAD OF WATCHING OTHERS. (if anyone says its a human experiment you'll get a slap as it is NOT at all)

as you can see i HATE HATE this program stupid people go on there to get rich quick from the celeb obsessed UK, look at Jade she made it big and the only thing she really did to help anyone was in her dying days to raise awareness of cancer but she still milked and made a fortune. Why can the UK not get more excited over important people who make a difference to the world we live in not these stupid celeb's and stupid WAG's ITS **** PATHETIC.

    rant over (for now)

  8. Surely something like an RS4 or GTR which has similar/better performance but day to day living and reliability would be a better bet and cheaper.

Dont the ferrari's run dry clutches as well meaning they only last about 5000 miles ? I know the Ducati bikes do but they only last 3000 miles and are about a 1000 to replace. This is why I hate 90% of Italian vehicles its one thing to make a fast car but then making it reliable and cost effective for the owner is another thing, which they quite clearly cannot do (alfa's fiats) rant over lol

  9. found out what the problem is spark plugs where drenched in fuel and burnt up but when i looked at cylinder 6 i found this:

    vr033.jpg

    vr034.jpg

part of the plug looks like its welded itself to the piston and i can see loads of shards in there. So not impressed at all cus it looks like its off to be rebuilt again after 300miles and having it back on the road less than 48hrs. To me it looks like the piston has struck the plug.

***** bad luck dude, what did it have done last time it went in ?

If piston has hit spark plug not good new at all as guessing something would be wrong with con rod/bottom end allowing extra movement for it to be able to hit the plug.

  10. yea hitting the ocean at that speed etc would be like hitting a brick wall??

i've been through/close to a thunderstorm in a plane before and scared the poop out of me!! could see the lightning bolts from the window and smell the ozone from the static - scary stuff. question i have though, and maybe rob could answer this, if a plane was to get hit by lightning, surely it would act like a Faraday cage and therefore not compromise any of the integrals of the plane??

yes thats a fairly accurate discription, although damage would occur at the entry and exit points as normally there is some rivet damage but that is a minor point and on its own wouldnt be a huge cause for concern.

there is also some localised paint discolouration as u would expect.

if can effect the aircraft systems but that is not so common - eg flickering screens, radio loss for a short period etc.

lightening strikes are common and are really nothing to worry about.

it is true that the aircraft can not be tracked position wise whilst in mid atlantic due to radar limitations but they can still have data and voice communications via satelite or HF radio comms.

Yeah surely if there was a problem and they we're going down, would they not have radioed to the nearest airport where ever that may be with there problems etc.

It was an Air france plane though so they were probably on strike last time it was in for an overhaul/service LoL

Im sure all will become clear one day when all the information is allowed out to the public.

  11. I dont get how they just loose a plane though, the flight paths are surely set and tracked, so then when it randomly went of radar doesnt it flag up somewhere, at traffic control at either the destination or the place they've just left ?

    All seems a little weird.
