  3. Hello to all,

I am new to the LS people but been here before with a LowRider LS.

I have a few questions that I could find out trawling old links etc but thought this may be quicker...

    1) Where can I get a Plain Debadged Chrome (or black) Grille?

    2) Are there Holes under the Badges on the Back? (before I try taking em off  )

    3) Where can I get Clear Side Repeaters and Front Indicators?

    4) Where can I get Sport Adjustable Coilovers to replace the Factory setup?

    5) Is it simple for fitting Aftermarket ICE to the LS's or is a bit of work required?

Any infomation and knowledge on LS Acessories etc would be greatly appreciated :D

I'm aware most of this stuff can be imported, but thought I'd look closer to home before going down that line lol

    Regards to all in Advance,

    LowRed

Had a advisory note to say the nearside rear lower suspension arm has slight play in pin/bush.

The tester said its not very bad but could knock the tyre out so I want to fix it in the near future.

  11. just saved mi self a few hundred pounds sortin blinkin dash by diy and alot of help and advice from other members, i originally went to lexus who said they didnt think they could sort the prob without havin to replace the whole cluster at a cost of well over a GRAND,so i searched the posts on here and the the U.S forum and came up with the fix for it at a huge cost of 11pence yes u read right 11pence for the cap and 1hour of my spare time,i only replaced the one cap on the small circuit board and this sorted all my electrical probs i had ie blinkin dash and no lights on centre console for climate/stereo and clock i now have a fully working motor..BIG THANKS TO ALL WHO HELPED ME SOURCE THE FIX OUT CHEERS :driving:

  12. Some previous owner has painted her  (?) nails on the dash and left traces. I suspect nail varnish remover is not the cleaner of choice for a vinyl dash.

Any suggestions how to get it off?

Tippex splashes on the vinyl door covers and leather arm rest and seats.

Any suggestions how to get that off?

Its niggling at my pride of ownership.

hi my mrs (nail polish wearer) says vinegar and water or lemon juice n water hope this helps u out

  14. Known fault on early models, especially when cold.

There is a step by step fix on the USA LOC.

The original post was by Cole Carter.

You have to replace three capacitors on the circuit boards behind the

    instrument panel.

I have done this fix on my'94 LS.

If you can solder tiny parts you can do it, I got the caps. from Maplin. :)

cheers mate spoke to auto electrician and gave him the info i got from this site so he'll get it fixed for me this week and cheap as he winna have to check everything n dismantle bits that dont need to be THANKS
