  1. Adrian Flux.... Now i found them to be a really good insurance company for modified cars. The only reason i started using them is that the company i work for put in there backoffice computer system. I've been to the site there in Kings lynn a couple of times now. They just keep getting bigger and bigger. Another insurance company you may want to consider is Express insurance. http://www.expressinsurance.co.uk/
  2. Brilliant, Now to find some Quarters...... Mmm, i wonder if it wil work with a 10 pence piece..... Not got the same ring to it..
  3. From one newbie to another, welcome.
  4. Hi Lee, It's aztec fire I think it is more of a dark mitalic orange/red. Do you know the one i mean? It has the late style factory 17" rims on it. I'll dig out a photo..... Here it is, what do you think?
  5. Hi Newbe here to the Lexus forum, and not done many posts. I've not had my Lexus IS200 long (about 10 Months). It's done nearly 50,000 and in need to replace the front discs (and Pads). I've done a search on this forum, and read various threads re changing discs. I want a disc that will look better on my car. I'll list a selection that some people have chosen Diamond Blacks prolex-uk grooved DBA's EBC's AltezzaScott brembo. Cross drilled? Grooved? Pitted? Cross drilled and grooved? The prices vary so much. Is it a case of 'you get what you pay for' or are there reasons for choosing? I don't want to spend the earth as I am only upgrading for aesthetic reasons. I want them to look good. I don't want to spend more that £200 for the Disc's. Which ones? Any help would be appreciated.
  6. Thanks for the advice ;)
  7. Yeah, I did, i didn't notice it then though. I got 3 months, or 3,000 miles. I've done about 1500 miles in it so far in arround 3 weeks.
  8. Thanks M8. Reading other posts, it seems to be a common problem, but no solution. Will changing the gearbox oil help the situation? Will a new gearbox help? As I have bought the car from a dealer (not lexus). Should I take it back under warranty?
  9. Hi. I have recently purchased an IS 200 sport. 'Y' reg with 31000 miles on the clock. I am having problems with getting it into 2nd and sometimes 3rd. If i change gear quickly, it seems to bite (not crunch or grind). If i change gear slowly it is fine. I am pressing the clutch fully each time i do this. Do you have any idea what might be causing this?
  10. I like the suround, not too sure on the number plate though ;)
  11. This is exactly what i need to install a parrot into my lexus. Do i need to e-mail prolex as the aux-in is not listed on there website?
  12. Hi, I'm new round here. Just got myself an IS 200 sport. I have a few questions that i'll be posting shortly, so be gentle. :mat:
