hmm commission sounds nice...
Im not sure if they are going to make the kit now.. there has been some inquiries but no definate purchases enough to make kits. If there is enough orders, the price would be much much cheaper than what I have paid for.
I've added the photos in the IS200/300 gallery section.

This is part of the review.. I'll only post the part relevant to the turbo
The Melbourne turbocharging junkies known as
AVO (Advanced Vehicle Operations) were
called in to take a squiz under the bonnet and
come up with a turbocharger solution to Eric's
needs. It turns out that the 1G-series engine
found in the IS200 does have one quality
attribute - it leaves heaps of underbonnet space
for a turbocharger!
The project took the blokes at AVO a few
months from start to its
fully-ADR-and-emissions-compliant current
guise. Pop the hood today and you'll notice the
custom fabricated stainless exhaust manifold,
which locates an out-of-place looking turbo - it's
a Garrett roller-bearing job that AVO rates at
320 horsepower. Given the engine internals had
to remain standard, turbo boost pressure is kept
quite low - 8 psi - which makes the intercooler's
job a bit easier. The front-mount AVO
bar-and-plate job is capable of dealing with a lot
more boost - something for later down the track,
maybe...
The engine management details are being closely
guarded by AVO at the moment since it's a
work-in-progress product. We can tell you,
however, it's an AVO/Link joint device that lets
the standard computer run the engine at low
loads, but switches to the programmable Link
system to take over at high loads. Hmmm,
sounds interesting! Extra fuel flow is provided to
the standard IS200 injectors by a high-spec
Japanese-sourced aftermarket pump.
On the exhaust side, the Garrett turbo
incorporates an internal wastegate whose gasses
merge with ex-turbine gasses in a 3-inch stainless
pipe. AVO supplied a super-clean cat converter,
which - at the time of photography - passed
gasses onto a HKS Hyper rear section. Eric has
now ripped this off to fit a Trust Power Extreme
system - this should prove just a little bit quieter.
Well, compared to standard - when it had only a
measured 80kW at the back tyres - the car's
taken on a completely new personality. Eric's
trusty Rev/Speed Meter confirms it - 6.6-second
0 - 100s are the stuff (current) WRXs and Gen 3
Commodores are made of! Eric says the car is
now much, much more enjoyable to pedal quick,
but - just to be safe - he is considering rebuilding
the engine with forged pistons and quality
aftermarket rods. Maybe then we'll see a bit
more boost and, of course, still more power.

here is a review on my car pls enjoy.
hmm seems like u need to be a member to view the rest of the pages..

Trust is a much quieter exhaust than the Hiper. I use to have the Hiper on, now i have the Trust.
Although it's much quieter I can now drive without the booming/ droning on the freeway.
-
is it an exhaust?
-
Hey asinn I should be putting in the pistons in November. .will get the shop to make you a thinner gasket.
-
is ur is200 stock internals with 280hp?
-
don't worry I have similar problem on my turbo setup as well
-
Trust e-manage for the IS200 GXE10 pre programmed for NA tuning.
On it's own, the emange wouldn
t be worth it.
But add the Trust air intake kit for the 1gfe and muffler should see some gains.

yup the speedo is incorrect.. maybe 2-3km/h off.. but that means alot nowadays. .cops bust you for doing 61km/h in a 60km/h zone..
-
no probs.. u can get into my other albums, most of them are to do with cars, whislt one of them is some mpegs I took at K1 (kick boxing) on sunday. Enjoy

i don't know why you have to sign in.. i think it's a new policy. Before you can just view the pics.
Well if you need a web to host pic, sign into imagestation, unlimited storage and minimal spam mail. I only get mail like once every 2 weeks.

had a mini meet.. some cars didn't go for the cruise but just met up.
here is the album link

i think the Rev speed meter is behind this..
i guess it removes the speed limiter.
Or maybe the Final gear is the reason why my car can rev higher.. i never took much notice of the dyno sheets :(
-
digiloop: so we can use the conrods from the 1ggte enigne no problems right?
perfect fit??
mmatecki: im not too sure what you are asking...can you explain it again??
-
hey mat! so do you think i should upgrade the internals of the engine and run higher boost? but the transmisson would only handle 250hp..
my car is 140.9kw at rear wheels so im already near the 250hp mark.. should i say bye bye to my transmission with the extra boost im thinking of?
-
yeah would love to see some performance mod for the IS200 (1gfe).
Imagine the untapped market out there.
Asia region
Europe
Australia.
Many IS200 owners are left in the cold due to the lack of support for the 1gfe.
By making a performance exhaust system ie headers->muffler you sure would be a pioneer!
-
im gonna purchase them soon to see if they are good quality. If it is i tell you guys.. not sure if the conrods would fit and if the pistons are good qaulity.. but there's gotta be a guinea pig...
-
hey i heard that it takes some knowledge to install the kit.. some rewiring needed. IS this true?
and would it work for the black housing lights?? i don't have the dial where you can adjust the beam from inside the cabin
-
Ok here are the pics i took at Auto Salon Melbourne.
Mainly IS200 pics.
The yellow SARD is back again with even more customisation to the car.. hydraulics damn you should see that babe go.. I might get him out oneday and make a video of it for you guys.

-
nah no probs mate!

haha they told me the kit was going to be done in 4 weeks as well. But it took 3 months in the end... but im sure they can do a much quicker job now since they've had experience with my car.
The price that they quoted you was with the fuel pump ? ie stage 1 or 2?
