They are gonna be extremely blue! Not as bright as the 8000k...
  3. Thinking of getting the HKS Silent Hi-Power myself, put one on my old Starlet Turbo there a few weeks ago. It's great! Not loud at all on idle & just has a nice sound when your right foot gets heavy :D Try for a group buy??? :) They're €305 (£205) plus shipping... I have sent off an e-mail to the powers that be to see how much the shipping is & if we can get a discount on a group buy :D

Haha ye I'm one of the Manic-Motorz lads too, car used to belong to Peter works for the Autotrader indeedy. You on Manic yourself? Dipped beams are 9005 & full beams are 9006 as far as I remember I have that X5 8000k kit on my Altezza, will get a few pics if youz want... Only got the dipped beams tho as I'd hardly ever use my full beams. Best way to do it is to get two kits although you can buy the bi-xenon kit which does both but in the one bulb & it's weird lol
  6. Not so far I'm afraid, had a lot on my plate at the mo well the more the merrier obviously :D Shall try & work out a date as soon as possible :winky:
  7. Engine oil should be changed every 5k & (oil) filter every 10k... :winky:
  8. I just think it takes more time to get accurate results with a tiptronic, and wouldnt be worth his while doing it is there is a queue of 12 cars behind ya! Im sure if you book an hour on your own it can be done Ye I don't actually know any1 with a manual or tiptronic that's got their car rolling roaded lol As you said it probably just takes more time... So who does that leave???
  9. I've got college the weekends of 27-28 January and 17-18 February, any weekend apart from that and i'm there :) Starting list on original post :D
  10. Have started a thread in the Meets section so make sure you all throw up a post to get interest goin :winky:

  12. ye i can do the clock in 4th gear ( 180kmh) so and still more there if it wasnt limited. probably get an rsm fitted before i get it dyon'ed any way Ye 4th is the norm as it's direct ratio from engine to drivetrain afaik... Hate the way ya can hit the limiter in fourth with 5th & 6th still to go lol
  13. Excellent, this is lookin to be a good 1 :D
  14. Enfield, up in Meath i think. Let us know if your interested we can all go down and get it cheaper maybe Think a rolling road day is in order! :D Possibly mid-January??? Any other Irish boys up for it? Martin's a really down to earth bloke, no bull sh*t involved... His figures seem to be the most accurate & consistant that I've seen, wouldn't really use anywhere else tbh. Brilliant for giving proper advice too! Car doesn't have to be de-limited, that's only for the places that do top speed runs which are pointless. That has nothing to do with your power....
  15. So it shouldn't kick?? :duh: I'll be gettin it rolling roaded soon so will post up the power curve lol
  16. Now I'm confused, mine has a big kick too & it's completely standard. Lacks power up untill 4500 but fun from then on :D

  19. Same as mine too :P Ireland's gonna be full of them soon
  20. Hey mate, welcome to the site! Box should take 7.2 L of ATF if it's the 5 speed auto box... (according to this thread anyway: http://www.lexusownersclub.co.uk/fo...hl=quantities) :D
  21. Are they in good nick???
  22. Having hard time finding any for the Altezza, what brands have ones??? TRD are the only ones I've found so far & they're lookin like stupid money for just springs...
  23. Thanks for the response. I've considered the aftermarket HIDs was but was told the reflector on the stock housing would not reflect the HID beam properly. Do you have any issues with yours? Also, if I keep my original headlight, how easy is it to remove the orange turn signal reflector lense? Thanks. Monster-Mat, Did you have any fitment or wiring issues with fitting the IS300 headlights in the Altezza? No mate, no problems at all. Beams are focused perfectly (I think) lol
  24. Hey mate, welcome to the club... Why don't you just get a set of after-market HID kits? I fitted a set to mine, works a treat & looks savage! :D http://www.hid-lights.com is where I got mine, GP Thunder are probably the best value for money ones ;)
  25. Have a stand at Cool Nights, really looking forward to it. Always a good laugh, especially the after-show party (headin straight to airport for Lanzarote from party ) I know this site is a bit funny about linking to other sites but there's a good Irish forum that I'm involved with called Manic-Motorz which organises lots of meets (including one 2mor nite at Tuning Factory), events & has stands at every show... Might be worth doing a owners club tho Edit: damn got there first Dan lol As for rolling road day, I'd be more than happy to organise a rolling road event if there's enough interest. Venue will probably be Westward Engineering in Enfield as I've found that to be the best place... Let me know anyway, would need numbers etc
